Every single page from the front cover to the back cover of The Prince's Game is awesome! It is packed full of fun, entertainment, friends and family! I absolutely love Evan and Sarah's story, and can't wait to read more from Lexi C. Foss! - Loves2ReadRomance Blog
I LOVED LOVED LOVED this book! It's such a fun read that I could NOT put down! Let me first say, I really enjoyed The Selection by Kiera Cass and thought I would like this book as well. To be clear, although it's the same "game show/reality TV" theme where the main character is looking for their true love, it is a unique story. This book is an ADULT romance and of course, comes with LOTS of hot chemistry. YAAASSS! What makes this book a great and captivating read is the well-developed plot characters. -Kelly's Book Blog

The Prince’s Game is the first book in the Mershano Empire Series by Lexi C. Foss. This story is a wonderful, erotic contemporary romance and is quite different from Ms. Foss’s other book ‘Blood Laws’, which is a paranormal romance. I absolutely loved Blood Laws and couldn’t wait to see what Ms. Foss did with this genre. I wrote in my review for Blood Laws that I was struck by how amazingly talented Ms. Foss is- as she truly has limitless creativity and imagination. Now having read this book as well, I am again in awe of her impressive talents. Ms Foss is on my “Must Read” list and both her books are on my favourite reads list.
Sarah Summers is a 31 year old marketing director from Chicago who has found herself the unwilling victim of her twin sister’s prank. The prank has resulted in Sarah being cast as a contestant on a reality dating show called ‘The Princes Game’. Sarah is livid with her sister, especially since she has discovered that there is no way to get out of her predicament, or off the show, without being eliminated. So that becomes Sarah’s escape plan- show enough disinterest and hope that the billionaire bachelor eliminates her in the first round. That shouldn’t be too hard, since he will have 29 other beautiful women fawning over him- he won’t want to keep the aloof, uninterested, sarcastic and somewhat feisty brunette. Then she meets the charming, sexy and cheeky bachelor and she’s not only intrigued, there’s also a small part of her that secretly hopes that she’ll be chosen to stay.
Evan Mershano is 35 years old and is the billionaire bachelor for this season of The Prince’s Game. He is the hardworking CEO of his family’s hotel empire and is happy living his single, jet-set lifestyle. He most certainly isn’t looking for a girlfriend, let alone a wife and children. But Evan’s controlling parents want him to settle down and produce an heir- so if Evan wants to remain the head of the company and keep his inheritance he will need to play along, for now. Problem is that he is expected to choose one contestant, at the end of the season and propose to her. With 30 beautiful women all vying for his heart and most of them only really interested in him for his wealth- he really will need a miracle to get him out of this stressful situation. His fate seems sealed. Until Sarah captures his attention.
Evan quickly realises that Sarah isn’t like the other girls, and she doesn’t want to be there anymore than he does. So he makes her an offer that she just can’t refuse. His proposal is that if Sarah stays till the end of the season, and then refuses his proposal- he will finance Sarah’s dream of owning her own marketing firm. So Sarah agrees and the games begin.
As the story progresses, Evan and Sarah find that their bargain isn’t as straightforward and uncomplicated as they had envisaged and there is far more at stake than they realised.
I loved the sexy, flirty feel of this story. It is very seductive and I became completely engrossed in Evan and Sarah’s delectable story. Their volcanically hot chemistry, coupled with their fun, friendly, flirty and very witty banter made for a really entertaining read. The supporting characters were really wonderful too; they added an extra element of interest and produced threads for future instalment in the series.
Another superb and truly unforgettable read!!!!
I am going to be jumping on any other books from Ms. Foss, as soon as they are released
Thank you Ms. Foss!!!
Evan and Sarah have an unconventional start to their relationship but I really enjoyed the different nuances of this story and the unfolding events to bring us to the conclusion I was hoping for😍 I voluntarily leave my honest review for this book after receiving a copy from Lexi in anticipation of Rebel’s Redemption being released soon💕

Sarah is a 31-year-old single lady, who loves her job as a marketing director. But her twin sister Abby may have put her job on the line by signing her up on a singles show, where she may meet her future husband. Sarah is desperately looking for a way to get off the show so she has asked her attorney friend Rachel for help. Even though the twin game was fun as a child Sarah wished Abby would grow up and realize that as adults this was not right. Rachel sent Sarah a message letting her know that yet she had not found a loophole in the legal contract that had been signed by Abby in Sarah’s behalf so for now she was stuck with the show and had to endure bogus interviews for the show.
Sarah had to discuss why she thought Evan Mershano would make the perfect husband. During the interview, Sarah had to mention that her favourite thing about Evan was his backside, but there was no way she going to mention this and let the interview directors know. Evan is the CEO of a billion-dollar enterprise, Sarah knew the position wouldn’t be easy even though it seems he was handed this position on a silver platter. After the interview Rachel, messaged Sarah to meet her at Sarah’s favourite Italian restaurant. On the way out not looking where she was going she bumped into what she would describe a hard-male wall.
Apologising to this male she tells him she was sorry and should not have been texting and walking at the same time. Sarah had no idea who this person was and thought he was a producer of the show, it wasn’t until he answered to his name being called that she nearly had a fit as this person was none other than Evan Mershano. At that moment, she told herself she was going to kill Abby for putting her in this position. As Sarah heard Evan laugh she thought it may be worth staying on the show just to see him again, but it was not worth losing her job over.
Would Rachel find that loophole?
Will Sarah stay on the show if the loophole is found?

The last thing Evan Mershano wants or needs is a wife, especially one who is really only there for the money, but to keep the peace and his inheritance, he agrees to play The Princes Game. He can always bury himself in his work after..... Right?
Sarah Summers is not happy to be a contestant on the game show, but thanks to a prank by her identical twin sister that has stepped way over the line, she's stuck there until she gets eliminated, as soon as possible if she has her way (even if Evan turns out to be as hot as hell). Evan and Sarah strike a deal to give them what they both wish for when they discover the other doesn't want to be there, but their water tight agreement doesn't quite go to plan!
Both Evan and Sarah drew me in from the start, they are likeable and smart, people I like to think I'd get on with. The further the game goes along, the hotter their chemistry (and their "off camera" time) got. They were so good together, but both tried hard to deny where their feelings were headed. You can feel the tension and Evans obvious discomfort with the things he has to do to "make it good tv" I'd want to throttle Paul the director if I were him! Sarah was made to feel very uncomfortable at times, especially where one contestant in particular was concerned.
The story flowed, the backstage parts of the tv show were fascinating and resulted in a fabulous, intriguing and heart warming story I loved reading. I can't wait to read the next book in this series and more of Lexi C Foss.
I picked up this book thinking just a chapter and then off to bed ...... in reality i then spent 3 hours reading as fast as i could to finish this! Gripped with this story and these characters is an understatement i just couldn't get enough!
I have had this book for less than 24 hours and already re-read it!!
This was a complete pleasure to read and i am so excited for the next one in November I already know I'm going to love it!!
I loved it because I haven't read this scenario before.
He needs a wife to get his inheritance and her twin sister sets her up as a contestant in a reality tv show, where Evan has to pick a bride.
Who knew that Sarah might just find her Prince after all.
The two main characters Sarah & Evan have a great sense of humour, banter and good connection on all levels. Which the author clearly shows in their writing style. It's a romantic story and the typical happy ever after.
You get glimpses of other stronger characters which I assume will appear in another novel.
