This was a really great book. Even though the subject of infidelity is a very varied as well as serious subject, this book covered all areas. What would you do if your husband brought a baby home? It's easy to say that you would throw them both out, and you may even hate the cad...but the baby? What would you do? Would you leave the baby to a man who obviously cares about no one but himself? A man who obviously has no interest in you or the child? That's the question. The writer has the gift of taking you there, and feeling every ounce of pain on the subject. The book had quite a bit of humor in it as well. What's the saying:"so sad that you have to laugh to stop from crying". A great read.
ALL of Evelyn Palfrey's books are great and deserve 5 stars. However, when I recently purchased this second copy from another seller, I was not pleased because the pages were severely yellowed and old and had to toss it out. Oh well.
I enjoyed "The Price of Passion." The author did a good job bringing the characters to life. I felt the vivid imagination with great storytelling. The book was not a page-turner for me but it kept my interest. It was a little too long as well; nevertheless, it was a good read and I'd recommend it. Love the title of the book.
The book was good. I was able to get right into the characters and follow the story. I read it in no time. The only thing I wanted was a little more suspense. As I read along I could often tell what was gonna happen next. Overall good read....price sucked though.
