Now Max, may not care for his new assistant, but her sassiness and curves have him very much interested. In the past he would have tapped that with no reservation, but now it would be a definite HR nightmare. When all he has ever wanted was to climb the corporate ladder of the family business, he has no intention of sabotaging his chances with a fling.
If Ellie thought her life couldn't get worse, she was sadly mistaken when she took the position working for the alphahole. Being renamed 'Piss Girl' is just the beginning of the lengths Max will go to take make her life hell. Biting her tongue isn't her style, but even Ellie needs to eat.
That is until they both come to a beneficially mutual arrangement that makes them wonder if they've both lost their minds.
OK truthfully I spent the first part of the book wanting to throat punch Max. He has to be one of the most asinine characters I have read in a long while. But Carmel Rhodes writes some of the funniest and filthiest dialogues, that I just didn't care. If you are not scarred by my review you really must try this author because she is downright awesome!!
Max and Ellie start something they know they shouldn't and might never be able to finish.
When Max has lost everything Ellie stands up and helps him fight for what is his, but will the scandal take them both down ?
I personally enjoyed this book, there were a few common phrases throughout that i cringed when reading but was able to to put that in the back of my mind and enjoy the story that was unfolding.
I look forward to more from this new to me author and hope that Jaylon and Erin get their own stories too.

This girl right here didn’t know how much time an audiobook consumes!!! LOL. I wasn’t ready. This is my first time reviewing an ALC. I loved Ellie. She seems so energetic and full of life. I rooted for her to survive this hell called Mr. Anderson’s company LOL. She and Max shared a lot of steam – which was amusing to listen to by the way. They brought the heat! Carmel Rhodes definitely serves us with a story of intrigue and drama. The family dynamics are on the one hand lovely and on the other highly questionable. And. Dysfunctional. This was an easy listen (even if it took a long time – it feels like a long time because I read so fast I feel), and I was highly entertained.
