I really enjoyed this book and it is a definite page turner that's for sure. The writing and the story was excellent, full of anticipation, what if's and WTF moments.
This is teenage angst at it's best, a group of rich well to do young ladies and gents going to school as normal until one of their friends is murdered; brutishly so, which leaves this small community stunned and running scared. Who is the killer and why is this person doing this, what possible motive could they have ?
The characters were fabulous, even though some of them I detested and would have liked to throat punch them more than once, I couldn't help to be drawn in by their different personalities and theirs faults and some good points now and again.
I was second guessing the whole way through and Monica Murphy kept me on tenterhooks right until the very end.
I particularly loved the odd chapters where we get the killers point of view; why they were picking their unsuspecting victim and how they felt about he/she. I thought that was very clever and made the book just that little more exciting.
All in all a good story, with lots of twists and turns that kept me glued to the pages until the very end. A MUST read
