Where do you start?
Emptying this thing, even on a windless day will result in dust going everywhere. I’ve got bad asthma and this affects me for days. My partner doesn’t even have asthma and it affected her breathing from just being next to me after I emptied the dust container. Because the dust container is so small, this has to be done several times a week.
Even when properly closed some debri will spill out of the container if left on its side. Once, the container came loose, causing a big cluster of dust to spill out around the house.
Within a week, I had to contact Beko over a broken part. The parts fit together so stiffly and awkwardly that attempting to remove a part, the force of pulling off it caused it to smash on the floor. I got in contact and after having to sift through my bin to find the proof that they asked for, they did eventually agree to replace the part. By this stage they had take so long to make their decision that i had already ordered a universal part to replace it as I assumed that either they were not replacing it or that it would be too much of fight or wait and I needed the part too much to bother. I am still waiting on the part that Beko eventually said they are sending (it’s been 19 days since I sent them the proof they asked for). To make matters worse, when the universal vacuum part arrived, I learned that Beko have deliberately designed the vacuum in such a way as to not be compatible with it. There are protuberances that run along the edge of the nozzle which serve no apparent purpose other than to make sure that only Beko parts will fit. I think this the reason that even Beko parts fit awkwardly. To top it all off, I checked everywhere and you can’t even purchase this Beko-made part anywhere.
I’m sure many brands are just as bad and that some of these issues are standard but I would recommend rolling the dice on just about anything above this junk.
