What Is It?
Erythritol is a 0 calorie & 0 carb sweetener used to add sweetness to just about anything!
It's a part of the "sugar alcohol" family, which means it's derived naturally from fruits and plants and passes through your body, untouched, much like fiber. Because it's passed through, erythritol does not affect blood sugar in most people and has 0 net carbs. That makes it a great option for diabetics, low carb dieters and anyone looking to cut calories without sacrificing sweetness!
Erythritol VS Sugar
Erythritol is 70% as sweet as sugar and their flavors are very similar. Unlike many sweeteners, there is no bitter or chemical aftertaste. Some people say there is a mild cooling sensation instead. However, while sugar is a 68 on the glycemic index (GI) scale, erythritol is a 0! High glycemic foods cause blood sugar spikes, leading to more fat storage and hunger crashes.
Dentists love erythritol. Oral bacteria feed off of sugar but erythritol is shown to prevent plaque buildup, making it quite tooth-friendly!
Who Can Use It?
Anyone looking to reduce their sugar intake, lose weight or improve their health can benefit from using erythritol in place of sugar. It's a favorite among low-carb dieters, as well as sugar-free and paleo bakers.
How Do You Use It?
You can use confectioners erythritol just as you would sugar in cooking, baking and sweetening drinks like tea and coffee. We recommend 1 1/3 cup of powdered erythritol for every 1 cup of powdered sugar found in a recipe. A teaspoon or two in your morning coffee works like a charm. Feel free to play around with the proportions and use erythritol to your specific taste.

Desserts have become once again a delicious affair!
Flavour is great, texture is just right, and though pricey it does last a fair while. Great product.
I do not really cut off all the sugar from my life, but able to reduce the amount of usage of sugar, I'm happy with it.

When I first received my package, I got an email from Vicky with a free Dessert Recipe PDF download. So scrolling through, I find Brownies and who doesn't love a good, gooey chocolate brownie especially "GUILT FREE"
I've tried making my own, never turned out, tried buying pre mixed from a company in Toronto called Farm Girl. Terrible! and far too expensive and then I decided to give Vickys recipe a try. O.M.G! BEST so far! I can say I will be using this recipe going forward! I do want to point out. Erythritol is a diuretic. Some people can handle it and some it just passes right through you (diarhea). If you're someone like me who is sensitive to this stuff, try mixing with with some monk sugar or stevia. OR my wellness and nutrition coach recommended taking Magnesium Bisglycinate daily, as this helps with intestinal absorption. This should prevent you from running to the washroom 5-10 times in a day LOL.
Still am giving this a 5 star, it still is the BEST!
This beats Swerve hands down in terms of value. One of my biggest annoyances with straight-up erythritol is that it doesn't dissolve very well, it's not particularly soluble.
This, however? In powdered version? Perfect. Add it to whatever you want to, and it's plenty sweet. This makes anything a dessert, instantly. The taste is excellent, and the price is exceptional.
Supremely happy with this.
