Product Description

Posers gonna pose
I am a man who had nothing, but found everything.
I’ll never go back to nothing ever again.
I vowed to protect her, and that’s exactly what I’m gonna do.
The pictures I stumbled upon haunt me still, the secret I shoulder is heavy.
They say secrets put distance between two people, but the truth is far more destructive than keeping it will ever be.
I won’t ever tell. She can’t ever know.
When I look in the mirror my reflection is of who I’m afraid I’ll become and not the man I am.
It makes me feel like a poser, no better than all the others pretending to be exactly who they aren’t.
How does a man keep it together when everything is unraveling right here in his hands?
I didn’t start any of this.
I never asked for it.
But it came knocking at my door.
When secrets and threats knock, I don’t hide.
I open the door.
Because the best way to take down a poser is to be one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great book in this series! 12 May 2017

Wow! These books just keep getting better and better. I've enjoyed watching these characters grow throughout this series and am looking forward to where the next story will take them.

I'm going to be honest, there were parts of this book that were extremely difficult to read. If you've read the previous books, you know what happened to Ivy. My heart broke for her while she struggled internally. I can't even begin to imagine going through something like that. I also had a little trouble with the decision Braeden made, but ultimately I understand why he decided what he did.

Zack's POV in this book took me completely by surprise. I wasn't expecting that. It wasn't easy being inside his head and there were times that he actually made my skin crawl and my stomach lurch. Honestly, I don't believe Missy is much better than Zack, either. I don't think I have ever hated two characters as much as I hate those two.

I loved getting little glimpses of Romeo and Rimmel. I am so proud of Braeden and Ivy for sticking together and fighting to get through the tough times instead of letting it tear them apart. You can feel the love they have for each other coming up from the pages and it is so sweet to read. The same can be said for Romeo and Rimmel. Those two couples have such strong love for each other.

While this book dealt with some difficult topics, there is also so much love, loyalty, friendship, and sense of family. You really feel like you know these people and like you are a part of their tribe.
5.0 out of 5 stars Each book just gets better and more amazing than the last 23 October 2015

Oh my goodness, this series. Each book just gets better and more amazing than the last. As soon as I think Cambria has written something that nothing else will ever compare to, she goes and writes something even better. I honestly don't know how she does it. This woman is a book writing beast and a damn good one.

From the very beginning I was always extremely interested in Braeden and Ivy. I knew that their characters would end up together and I had really hoped I would get more of peek into their lives. I was ecstatic when I learned that #Selfie was from their point of views and it honestly became my favorite book in the series.

#Poser took its place though. In an instant. Seeing two characters that you really love finally finding themselves in one another is amazing and is definitely one of the best parts of a story but experiencing life with them after the initial honeymoon period ends is when their story really begins. In #Poser we learn so much about these characters. Through their struggles we get to see who they are as individuals better than we ever have. Things get hard and life gets tough and that's when someone's strengths and weaknesses are revealed.

There are definitely some moments in this book that brought tears to my eyes. The pain that Ivy goes through is unbearable but she emerges so strong and finds herself finally free from everything she's been feeling and wondering about herself. I know Rimmel started it all but I have no shame in admitting that Ivy is and has always been my favorite. She's such a strong female even when she thinks she's broken.

And poor Braeden. The secret that he had to hold on to for so long was one of the hardest things he has ever had to deal with. And he's dealt with some pretty heavy s***. But he remains strong for his girl. That says a lot about who he is as a character and how much he wants to keep her safe.

Speaking of characters, we also get a peak inside the mind of one of the not-so-well-liked characters. I know that Cambria was nervous about how her readers were going to respond to her including Zach's point of view but I'm glad that she did. It totally worked for the story and gave us a glimpse of his motivation for his actions all the way back to book one.

This book is so good. Guys, if you haven't picked up the Hashtag Series yet, please do so. You won't regret it.

I wish #Heart was already available because I would definitely jump straight into it.

Rating: 5 Stars.
Favorite Character: ALL of them!

3.0 out of 5 stars Least favorite 1 September 2015

#Poser was my least favorite of the #Hashtag series, and probably my least favorite of all Cambria's books I've read. Don't get me wrong, I still love Braeden, just not #Poser. I really did not like that Zach had 8 of his own chapters. In my opinion, his background story didn't need to be that long. Yeah, part of his childhood was horrible, but he was already twisted before anything bad happened to him.

#Poser wasn't bad, but it wasn't up to par with the rest of the #Hashtag series.

This book!!! This flipping book!!!!! I have put soo much thought into my review because this book deserves the best review ever from me. I's going to fail but I have thought long and hard on how to make my review worthy of this amazing book.

This book was a BIG book, been awhile since I've read a book this book I was a little scare thinking I would never finish. But as I read it I didn't feel like it was taking forever and I didn't find any "Fillers"(things that just are not needed usually added to make a book longer) every word was needed to finish Braeden and Ivy's story.
I fell more in love with Braeden and was reminded why I love Romeo soo much. We all know how much of a bromance they have, but we get to see how deep it is. How much B and Romeo mean to each other and how far they are willing to go.
Here comes the dark in me. I loved getting into Zach's head, his sick and twisted view on things was something I wasn't expecting. I believe Cambria could have never got into his head and I would have still loved this book as much as I do. BUT I'm glad she did, I never did grow to like Zach but just getting to know him a little more explained soo much about him. And answered the question everyone had. "Why did he do those things?"
Braeden and Ivy's problems, or struggle, or issues (whatever you want to call them) were some deep issues. these were things that happen in real life, not something over dramatize to sell and make money. The Issues were raw gritty and deep, and being with Braeden and Ivy while they figured everything out it gave you the gut twisting, heart stopping, heart braking feeling. I love how this book is so like real life. Braeden and Ivy don't on dates often due to real life like school, work, practice. As much as we are romance reader love dates scenes Cambria was able to put those feelings of a date scene into their lives when they would have free time to see each other. I was Swooned over Braeden and all the lovely things he would say to Ivy, here are a few (few not all the quotes I had picked out because I realized I would be putting up the whole book.) quotes I love from him.

<I>"We're two people drifting, like a boat without its oar. I don't want to drift anymore, Ivy. I want to drop anchor. I want to make sure you don't drift away from me." </I>

<I>"I've never been in love before. You stir emotions in me I didn't know was there. The thought of hurting you in anyways makes me physically ill. I would die for you, baby. I will kill for you. I would give you the last breath in my body just to give you another heartbeat of life. Of course I'm going to be careful when I touch you. You're basically my beating heart walking around outside of my chest."<I/>

This Hashtag series is all amazing and I'm glad there will be more. I'm hoping to find out some things that were left out about Braeden and Ivy (I'm sure that was done on purpose). I would tell anyone looking for a great series to start to start with this series. These books are written so beautifully and you can tell its done with care. Cambria cares about these characters and puts in a lot of thought into these books. I adore her writing skills, and the care she puts into each book.

Thank you Cambria for another book hangover (and I mean that the best possible way ever)!!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Braeden & Ivy Will Steal Your #Heart 20 August 2015

(Possible Spoilers)

Ivy Forrester is ready for the new semester to start, to put what happened with the #BuzzBoss behind her. She has a job, she's living with her friends, she has a sexy boyfriend, and she's trying to declare her major. She's done hiding, and wants to forgot. Ivy just wants to be happy and in love with Braeden. But something doesn't feel right. She feels scared on edge and she doesn't know why. Nightmares and panic attacks plague her, Ivy fears something isn't right with herself. But doesn't know what. She is trying to put on a brave face. But also worries that her and Braeden are slowly pulling apart. She feels there is something there between them. She'll have to be strong, because B is her life and she doesn't want to lose him. Or lose herself.

Braeden Walker, has Ivy, his beautiful girlfriend, he's a loyal friend to Romeo, the best BBFL to Rimmel, a tough football player, and a good son. But he feels like he's losing that, losing himself, holding this secret in. He's so angry and scared. He doesn't know what to do. He wants to protect Ivy more than anything. He doesn't want her to hurt or be sacred. If he he tells her he'll have to see her suffer, and thats the last thing he wants for her. He's afraid he'll lose Ivy. With the secret tearing him apart on the inside, he also has pressure to do good on the football field, to decided what he'll do after college, to watch after Ivy and Rimmel, while Romeo is off with the NFL, and trying handle his feelings towards his dad. He worries about all of the things that keep getting thrown his and Ivy's way.

#Poser is such a great book. Another awesome part of this series. It's a little more dark and serious than the previous ones. But it stays true to the feel of the #Hashtag series.

Braeden and Ivy are such a fun couple to read about. They share such a sweet bond. I love reading their banter. The sweet and swoon-worthy words they exchange. Its just as beautiful as Romeo & Rimmels love.

#Poser touches on a very serious issue. And i think Cambria handled it very well. You really feel Ivy's pain. The struggle she goes through when faced with what happened to her. The fear, anger, hurt. The need she feels to move on and get herself back together after it all. You also feel the pain Braeden went through keeping this secret. Their friends really come together to let Ivy know that they are there for her and they will protect her.

Braeden is still that goofy, cocky, alpha male with a big heart.

Ivy is still the fun, fashionista with such love for her friends.

But together and apart these characters are so much more. They grow alot in this book.

They experience vulnerability, love and laughs.

They also endure pain, fear and loss.

But through it all they hold onto the love that has always been there between them.
They save themselves and one another with it.

This series has such a strong group of friends, family. Braeden & Ivy are surrounded by a great group of people, Romeo, Rimmel, Drew & Trent. I #LOVE these characters & I #LOVE this series. I can't wait to see where all their stories go next.
