Giselle has owned several mastiffs. Some she acquired from reputable breeders and others she rescued as adults. Fostering rescued mastiffs and helping them work through their issues led to a keen interest in socialization as a means of preventing future issues. She loves working with her dogs and has dabbled in carting, conformation, agility, rally, trick dog, nose work, and many other canine sports. Her puppy Porter is a testament to early socialization - he has achieved many performance dog titles and has done commercial work. He also has a role in a movie called Match Me If You Can directed by Marian Yeager.

If you are have pets, thinking about adding a fur baby to your family (whether you have children or not) this book is a great resource for you. My fur babies tolerate a lot from my children and I. They must really love us because upon reading this book I learned what to do and what not to do to my dogs. I was able to teach my kids how to handle our pups with gentle hands and teach them what kind of petting their fur counterparts actually enjoy. Very informative.

The parcel also arrived in a very timely manner considering it was sent halfway across the world.
