Beautifully written with a well maintained continuity even swapping between points of view. Dealt well with the realities of a dedicated poly relationship. Oh and I loved the line about expert adulting levels! Another masterpiece Lesli, keep them coming. Any fans of her recent political thrillers note that this is a sweeter gentler read with just enough ex tension/drama to keep the story moving well.

A true love story. That shows the emotional bond between the main characters. that love in all its many forms can be truly healing. A romance rather than erotic romance the heat level is less than some of the authors previous novels. The focus is on the long standing bond they have between them and how their love helps heal not only themselves but makes them into a family. This author writes characters you genuinely start to care for.
Loved Zoey, Arlo and Nolan Arlo and Nolan have been best friends and loves off and on since high school. The times and Nolan's family prevented them from having the relationship they wanted. So the dated other people, coming together between relationships. Nothing got in the way of their friendship. Arlo met Zoey and her young son Lucas, 13 years ago, fell in love, and married her a year later. He became a father to Lucas and Nolan an uncle. She has always know about Nolan, both the strong friendship and the sometimes lovers. She fell for Nolan as well. Nolan has always loved his best friend Arlo. His family has kept him in the closet, even though he has limited contact, he held back. Then there was the fact that he wanted to be a dad. Then his X Jerilyn got her hooks into him. Their relationship was toxic but Nolan had a need to take care of her. She did give him his 6 year old daughter Katie. A brief time between break ups with Jerilyn and before Katie, Arlo and Zoey showed him what they could be together. Zoey couldn't give him a child of his own and he was to afraid to take what they all wanted. When things fell apart with Jerilyn for the last time. Arlo and Zoey were there for him and Katie. For the last 4 years Arlo, Nolan and Zoey have had a secret relationship. Stealing time when ever they have been able. Arlo and Nolan have made some plans for a home for all of them under one roof. No longer having to hide their relationship, except for when they had Katie. There plans are thrown off when Zoey's X, dumps Lucas, their 16 year old son and his stuff on the front lawn, after catching him with his boyfriend. Jerilyn tries to take Katie to California and threatens Nolan, Arlo and even Lucas and his boyfriend to get her way. A great story of friendship, love and family. Fast paced and a little steamy. FM MM MMF romance. Loved Arlo, Nolan and Zoey. Lucas and Caine are a cute couple , with loving support. Arlo and Nolan act as good roll models for them.
This was another amazing story by Leslie. This story kept you engaged with the characters. You laughed, cried and raged along with them all. Even if you aren’t in a poly relationship you can relate to the struggles that they face in their relationship. The fact that the story is relatable and could be anyone’s life makes it even more enjoyable.
You won’t be disappointed. Give it a try, I highly recommend it.
This is truly a beautiful story about friendship and love and how when you have the right people by your side you can get thru anything. This story also shows you that you can love more than one person in your life.
Take life by the horns and love who you want, when you want and always have faith.

I'm not sure this book was what I was expecting but I can say it's a good book, well written, strong characters, believable plot, cute kids and just a bit of an edge in places. Best of all: HEA! Nolan, Zoe, Katie, and Lucas were great characters. Arlo came across as someone hard to get to know and I had less mental attachment to him than the others. But a good read. I highly recommend it! If you love Tymber Dalton's "Suncoast Society" series, you'll love this book.
