Kids love the games; ours arrived with the steelbook

I have two kids, so they each got one game from the double pack. They can swap cards later to play through the other version if they want to e.g. to catch the version exclusive legendaries, rather than worrying about trying to somehow get one via trading. I wasn’t sure if we would get the steelbook as the Amazon listing didn’t mention one, but was ok if we didn’t as the Amazon pre-order price was cheaper than other retailers anyway. Luckily we did get the steel book so that was a bonus. I am very happy with this purchase.

Missing steelbook

Seems like there is no consistency as to whether you will receive the game with the steelbook. I preordered as soon as the game was announced, and didn't receive one. Yet, people who ordered the game more recently received one.

You're better off purchasing the games individually without the steelbook.

The item also arrived well after the release date, and is in a poor condition.

Very disappointed with Amazon.

These are great remakes of awesome games, with enough nostalgia to make you feel like its 2007 again. I recommend this for Pokémon or Nintendo fans who want an easy, fun time with a big throwback (in a good way)!

SteelBook Came a whole week later.

Amazon doesn’t properly advertise what they’re giving you. Ordered early (pre-ordered) just for the steelbook and never got one ever. Ordered another one online at a higher price becasue I contacted amazon and they said they didn’t give it and it’s the manufactures fault. Now I have 2 steelbooks and feel scammed.

To everyone who is worried, it’s probably delayed and you’ll get the steelbook eventually. If not, have a call to Amazon and try get it looked on.
