Lies.
Heartbreak.
Betrayal.

No one knew the devastation of those three words more than Faith Winston and five years ago, she endured every one of them. All she wanted was to feel safe and marry the very man who promised to love her and protect her, Ryker Knight.

But growing up in the Nordic Lords Motorcycle Club, she should have known she couldn’t have a happy ending. Instead, her world became a nightmare. The bikers—her family—abandoned her, leaving her to crash without their safety net.

Ryker Knight has spent the last five years consumed with guilt, running from the ghosts that haunt him. That is until his past catches up with him the moment his brother needs his help. Returning home to Jasper Bay, he’s forced to face the same ghosts he was running from. Only to find that the woman he loved is trapped in a hell of her own, entrenched behind enemy lines —and it’s all his fault.

And even though Ryker’s life comes with priorities that he can’t – and won’t - turn his back on, he refuses to leave Jasper Bay until he’s found Faith.

But will she want to return to the life she’s always wanted even if Ryker is no longer capable of giving her what he once promised?

This story was one i was waiting for. It was worth the wait. The story unfolded nicely and the characters are all lovable and have their moments when you just don't get them, i like characters having faults and doubts it makes them real. Its a great addition to the Nordic Lords with a creative story line.

4.0 out of 5 stars Really good addition to the series! I liked Ryker and Faith a lot! 1 August 2014

Review for Ramblings From This Chick. ramblingsfromthischick.blogspot.com

Point of Redemption is the second book in the Nordic Lords MC series by Stacey Lynn, but this book can be read as a standalone. I would suggest reading these in order though as the overall story continues from book to book and you really get to see how things progress with not only the couples, but the club in general. It isn't necessary though and you can still understand everything you need to in order to enjoy this book without having read Point of Return. I will admit that after reading the first book in this series I was really looking forward to Ryker's story, but I was a bit worried after I had some issues with the first one. This book was much better in my opinion though than the first book and I really ended up enjoying the story.

When his brother Daemon calls needing his help, Ryker heads back home after being gone for five years. Ryker hasn't seen his brother or the town they grew up in since the night everything went bad for them. Ryker has spent the last five years distancing himself from the club and dealing with the guilt from what happened that night, but he never forgot the girl that he loved even if she betrayed him. Upon arriving back in town, Ryker finds out that Faith has been living in a hell of her own since he left and has been forced into a life with the enemy. Ryker sets out to rescue Faith while helping his brother and the club out. When things take a turn for the worst, Ryker must balance his commitments back in New Orleans while also dealing with everything in Jasper Bay. Can Ryker get Faith back and show her that they can still have the life they dreamed of together even if they are different than they used to be? Or will there have been too much damage done to move forward together?

I liked Ryker a lot in Point of Return, and I loved him even more in this book. He was a really great guy and he took care of those that he cared about. I liked that he was an alpha that wanted to protect and claim his girl, but he wasn't a jerk or overly controlling. Ryker had a ton of guilt from not only what had happened with his father, but also with his friend in New Orleans. I felt so bad for him, and it was good to see him start to heal and realize that he wasn't to blame for everything that had happened. I also liked Faith a lot. I felt like we didn't really get to know much about her in Point of Return, so it was really nice to learn more about her. She had been through a lot as well, and despite everything that she had been through she was so strong. She sacrificed so much of herself for her mom when her mom didn't deserve any of it. It really showed how great she was and that she was really loyal. I liked that Faith was able to see that Ryker had made mistakes in the past, but that she understood what had happened and didn't blame him. Ryker and Faith had a lot of chemistry and attraction, but they also had such a strong emotional connection that time and distance hadn't changed. You could really see the love between them and I was glad that they were able to move forward after everything that could have come between them.

Overall, I thought that this book was really good. In my opinion this book was a lot better than the first book, and I felt like the story was really true to the characters in this one. I thought that Ryker and Faith belonged together, and it was good to see them find their way back to each other. I felt like there were a few times in this story that were a bit slow though, and I kept waiting for things to pick up. But I thought that the relationship between Ryker and Faith was really well done and kept my my interest even through the slower parts. I am liking this series, and I am really curious about what will happen next after the ending of this book. I thought that the ending did a great job of setting up interest for one of the characters that we met in this story, and I can't wait to get to know her better. I would recommend this series to fans of MC romance books, and I think that a lot of NA fans will really enjoy these stories. I can't wait to read the next book in the series, and I look forward to reading more from Stacey Lynn in the future.

4.0 out of 5 stars Rose's Book Blog Review: Point of Redemption 30 July 2014
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Faith Winston had it all. She is young, beautiful, and has a hot fiance who she can't get enough of. She thought she could have it all, that her future was with Ryker Knight, but growing up the daughter of a member of the Nordic Lords MC, she should've known that her future never included a happy ending.

Faith's world crumbled and fell apart 5 years ago. The day that Ryker left town and never looked back, not even bothering to question why he found Faith wrapped in the arms of another man, worse than that of a Black Death MC member. Ryker never questioned Faith's choice to go with a member of Black Death. Guess he should've paid better attention.

It will be five years before Ryker brings himself back to Jasper Bay. Back to the place he once held the love of his life. He has a life now, taking care of a rig member's wife and son, he doesn't need the complications that come with Jasper Bay even that including a family that needs him. When he arrives, he doesn't expect to find the woman he used to love, that he still loves, working at the last place he expects to find her. She's sold herself, oh so he thinks to a life spreading her legs for money. If only he knew the truth, that her mother sold her.

Five years is not enough time for either of them to forget the love they once shared, and as their lives begin to crumble around them, can Ryker hang on and find the woman he still loves hidden beneath the woman that she's become, a woman that died long ago?

I wanted to love this book, I really did. It's no secret that I have a thing for MC novels and hot bikers. I jumped at the chance to read this book because well, it's an MC novel and has a hot biker. While I loved Ryker's character and the overall story plot, it just lacked that fire I love so much in these novels. Sex scenes aren't the biggest part of an MC novel, but it's a BIG part of it and considering there was only one really hot scene and that it took more than halfway through the book to get there, I am sad to say I was a bit disappointed. Overall the story was good and I look forward to seeing what happens with Meg, it failed to capture my full attention.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good continuation of this series 7 August 2014

wo people have suffered. Faith was sold by her addict mother to a motorcycle club to be used as a whore in exchange for drugs. Five years ago, Faith was in love with her fiancé Ryker who left town and broke all the promises her made her. Ryker left town after accidentally killing his father and believing that Faith betrayed him. He has returned at his brother's request to assist in some serious matters facing the MC his family was a part of and those close to his brother. When he sees that the woman he still loves is being abused and enslaved, he fights to correct the wrongs of the past five years and get her back with him where she belongs.

This book picks up where we are left after Point of Return. We learn more about both Faith and Ryker's past and then get to see a couple bits of the story we know from Point of Return from their perspectives. It is obvious that both Faith and Ryker are both sad and furious about how their lives went in directions they didn't want and never expected. It is also obvious that they both love each other a lot. It was nice to see Ryker try so hard to get Faith out of trouble and take his time to let her make her own decisions. It was good to see Faith be helped by people who care about her and risked a lot to make sure she was safe. There is all kinds of high drama here that can be expected from the lifestyles these people lead. They are rough and tough and do some crazy things, but it is hard not to get caught up in their stories and cheer them on. It was nice to touch base with Liv and Daemon again and to see what their lives look like now. This book was a nice sequel to the first in the series and I look forward to reading the next book. 3.5 stars.

3.0 out of 5 stars It was a solid 3.75 heart read 20 August 2014

I love MC books and really wasn't disappointed with this one. I liked the story and plot. I liked the characters. I loved the raw, dirty, gritty aspect of it. I love everything he does for love. And honestly I feel kinda bad that she does as much as she does for her mom for the sole purpose of her being her mother. I love that the guys come in to save the day and get her back, to right a wrong. It worries me who they had to get involved with to get that done. I don't have anything really to complain about with the book, no cons to list. Once everything starts to come around for faith, I wanted to scream. Felt like every time she turned around more s*** was going down that hurt her. Like she had no way she was gonna get better. All in all I really liked it.

Point of Redemption (Nordic Lords MC #2)
By: Stacey Lynn
4/5 stars

At the end of book 1, Point of Return, Ryker had just gotten a lead on Faith’s whereabouts. This book doesn’t start right after this, it back tracks to Ryker working & living in New Orleans before Daemon called him to come home. So we also got to see quite a few interactions from book 1, but from Ryker’s and Faith’s POV.

Ryker Knight left Jasper Bay about 5 years ago after the infamous night where Olivia was shot, her mother was killed and his father was killed in the Knight family home. He ran from his entire life. He left Faith, his fiancée, his brother Daemon, who was also his only blood relative. Since then he never goes home, rarely calls his brother and tries to work and drink away the ghosts that haunt him, of which there a two main characters, his dad and Faith.

Faith was an escort at the Penny Boarding House for the Black Death MC, and not by choice or free will. But Daemon, who was VP at the time made a deal with Hammer, the President of the Black Death, to help out the other MC & work together to get rid of another problem in exchange for getting Faith back. But at the end of book 1, Cain, the VP of Black Death took off with Faith and the Nordic Lords had been searching high and low for her.

Faith and Ryker have many issues to work through in their pasts, both individually and together. They will have to examine their past relationship and decide if they can let go of the guilt and blame and be able to move forward.

I really liked this book, but there were inconsistencies compared to the info given in book 1. For example, in book 1, Ryker was on 2 years older than Daemon but in this book, he was 4 and where someone was stabbed in book 1, in this one that person was shot. For me, the last 20% of the book wasn’t needed. Except for the very last scene.
