Product Description

"This thrilling tale of romance and adventure on the high seas will enchant readers." Irene S., Proofreader, Red Adept Editing

The mischievous Princess Jules of Aggadorn has been pampered and protected her entire life. More than anything, she longs to experience challenges and adventure. But with her mother’s threat to marry her off hanging over her head, Jules fears she will never have the chance. All that changes when she’s kidnapped by pirates.

Forced to labor for her passage aboard Captain Jaymes’ vessel, Jules learns more about life than she bargained for. Captain Jaymes doesn’t fit Jules’ idea of a thieving buccaneer. Beneath his rough exterior lies a man of honor desperate to save his people from a murderous sorcerer. Jules never expects to fall in love with the handsome young captain or to involve herself in the pirates’ plight, much less have the power to save an entire kingdom.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun, adventure, snark. 3 April 2017

This novel pulled me in from the beginning and the adventure kept going until the end. This is a smooth read. I didn't feel a moment was wasted. The main character, Jules starts off a bit immature, but she becomes a radiant, daring young women, determined to help those less fortunate. Some of my favorite parts consisted of all her run-ins with the pirate Captain Jaymes. The tension between them was perfect. A few misunderstandings between them kept the plot moving. The best part was the action packed scene in the middle of the novel, which I can't disclosure because of spoilers, but it was beautifully written. The descriptions were amazing and riveting. The writing is also clean and polished.

I recommend this novel for all those who love a beautiful, clean adventure on the high seas.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cute romance with a bit of adventure 26 July 2017
By Rebecca Charlton - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
I always enjoy a pirate romance. The author uses the tropes well and combines them with a bit of fantasy and, magic. It's a cute mashup. The plot works and flows. This is definitely a book that demonstrates that indie works are the stories told around campfires. It's a pleasant and amusing tale of heroism and love that makes the heart race.

For book connoisseurs, the writing and characterization have some flaws. There's a lot of telling and the author relies on cliche. Both main characters are a bit shallow in depth. The book has few themes beyond the story. It makes no claim to be literature but it is an enjoyable way to pass a few hours.

This was a really fun book. I enjoyed the adventure and the cast of characters. It was clean and I can easily recommend this book to teenage readers and adults alike. I picked this one up on Kindle Unlimited and look forward to more by this author. (I didn't read the first book but I should!)

5.0 out of 5 stars Love, Love 12 March 2017
By Jenny Flake - Published on Amazon.com

Love, Love, Love this book. I beta read it in its early years and love how the author developed the character, took the reader through adventurous twists and turns, and made me fall for the hero as the main character fell in love. A truly fun, adventurous romance about pirates, a semi-princess, and a whole lot of trouble in between. Totally recommend it!
