Funny, clean, small-town, sleuth novels—with a touch of romance. The heartwarming relationships between young and old and the quirky world of loveable characters will make Pineapple Port Mysteries your new favorite series!"Too much!! Wow! I don't think I've had so much laughter and fun in a cozy mystery ever! " - Amazon Reader ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Book #1 of the binge-worthy series by Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author Amy Vansant, Pineapple Lies, is a twisty puzzler...with an ending you won't see coming!

"Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman is huge right now, and if you like that you will love Pineapple LIes. Personally, I have to say I enjoyed this even more." - author Tommy Ueland
If you like Thursday Murder Club or HULU's "Murders in the Building", you'll love Pineapple Port Mysteries!
As an orphan adopted by one of Florida's 55+ communities, Charlotte never expected life to be wild. Golf cart racing with her surrogate mothers Mariska and Darla was about as nutty as life got...until she found the hot pawnbroker's mom buried in her backyard.
Talk about making a lousy first impression...
Armed with nothing but her wits, Pineapple Port's questionable cast of characters, and a growing crush, Charlotte is determined to solve the mystery of Declan's mother's murder.
Hey, at least this guy's skeletons aren't in his closet.
Throughout the series, you find killers, crazy ex-girlfriends, loving dogs, romance, treasure hunts, government operatives, FBI agents, danger... and a cast of characters almost as funny as they are loving, supportive and brave!
Mystery Readers love The Pineapple Port Series:
"I will usually binge-read an entire cozy mystery series even if I just "like" the series. I started off just liking Pineapple Port. Now I'm starting book 8 and I absolutely LOVE this series. Thank you, Amy, for creating such a wonderful universe of great characters. I love how there always seems to be multiple storylines that intertwine. It's nice to be able to escape reality into a book. I appreciate it!" --- Reader ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"Amy is one of my favorite authors. I highly recommend all of her books. No matter what genre she writes in, she manages to create books that demand that the pages be immediately turned to find out what happened because you really care about the characters." ~ Dianne Harman, USA Today and Amazon Chart #1 Bestselling Author
"Mysteries usually aren't my genre, but Amy does a great job in adding twists, turns and - of course - her humor to every page. For a person like me who finds it hard to pick up a book and keep turning the pages, the fact that I tore through this book from start to finish and am looking forward to the next one speaks volumes." - Author, Rodney Lacroix ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"More than once, I found myself laughing out loud while reading through the story. The character development is good, the humor is unforced. All around, an excellent, lighthearted mystery that I would absolutely recommend." - Amazon Reader ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"An unlikely friendship and romance develop with moments of levity and hilarious laughter. More than once, I found myself laughing out loud while reading through the story. The character development is good, the humor is unforced. All around, an excellent, lighthearted mystery that I would absolutely recommend." --- Amazon Vine Voice Reader ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

About the author

USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Amy Vansant has written over 20 books, including the fun, thrilling Shee McQueen series, the rollicking, twisty Pineapple Port Mysteries, and the action-packed Kilty urban fantasies. Throw in a couple romances and a YA fantasy for her nieces... Amy specializes in fun, exciting reads with plenty of laughs and action -- she tried to write serious books, but they always ended up full of jokes, so she gave up.
Amy lives in Jupiter, Florida with her muse/husband a goony Bordoodle named Archer.

This ended up an ok story for me, I was hoping to have a laugh at some stage but only ended up shaking my head.
The Community has adopted her and looked out for her since her Grandmother death.
Deciding to get rid of some of the concrete and have a garden , has unwanted results.
If you enjoy humour with your murder mystery and a side serving of romance, this is the series
for you.
This is a wonderfully funny novel which I thoroughly enjoyed. Charlotte’s parents died when she was eleven, leaving her to be brought up by her grandmother. One or two problems with that. First problem, grandma lives in an over fifties village, where an eleven year old sticks out like a sore thumb! Second problem, way worse than the first, grandma dies too! Luckily for Charlotte there are two best friends of grandma, Mariska and Darla who take it upon themselves to keep her safely close with them. After growing up with this protective love all around her, Charlotte finally decides she is old enough and moves into grandma’s old home, just across the road from Mariska and not too far from Darla and her Sheriff husband. All the neighbours may be elderly but their hearts are filled with kindness and caring towards Charlotte. This book is so funny I have had pages where I simply can’t stop laughing! I look forward to reading more of Charlotte’s adventures at Pineapple Port. I was given this book but the review is entirely my own. It is a fantastically funny series if they are all like this one! I am glad there are more to read! Amy Vansant is a great writer who keeps the reader smiling throughout her book!

Pineapple lies is set in a retirement community, Pineapple port (which is where the title comes from). Even through it is a retirement community the story is set around Charlotte a twenty something female who lives there and the problems she has when she unearths the skeletal remains of a body in her back yard. With the bones being so old, that rules out Charlotte from being the murder but unfortunately everybody she cares about could still be the killer. With help from her surrogate mum's and unwittingly from the sheriff, she soon finds her self adding find killer to chalk board to do list.
With a fun group of characters it was a nice cozy mystery.

She has the ability to make you care for her characters and live their lives with them, no matter how unusual. Loved the warmth and authenticity of the "Golden Girls" characters, and Charlotte is one of my fave-ever contemporary heroines.
Genius!
