So I will give my thoughts on each book. First up Tainted Bodies
Oh wow I started this book and kept saying to myself just one more chapter.......yeah just one more chapter till I finished the whole damn book! Damn you Sarah lol.....oh what a clever little web you have weaved in this book. I wanted to cry and hug Kate and then I got so mad at Derrick😡. Ahhhh I'm totally sleep deprived and I so badly want to start the next one in the series to find out what happens. Fantastic story, real emotion and a wonderful storyline that captivated me from the get go! Next up Tainted Pictures.
The suspense and intrigue just keep building and drawing me in. Ok in one part of this (and I'm not telling which part) I literally threw my hands in the air and yelled YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING!! Omg I am dying to read the final book! Sarah has done a fantastic job with the storyline, it's original and I have not been able to put any of the books in this series down. I have been captivated from start to finish which demonstrates the Authors ability to tell an intriguing and suspense ridden story! Well worth the read I've enjoyed this book immensely!
Last but not least Untainted!
I have been sitting here a while now trying to think of the perfect way to describe this book. It is full of suspense, drama (you know the bite your nails, yell obscenities, pacing and rip your hair out kind). It also has just the right amount of romance to heal your heart when you don't think it can take anymore. You know you want to read it now. It's an outstanding conclusion with so many twists and turns that will leave you dizzy and bewildered. Excellent Sarah...........Excellent!!!

Favorite Quotes:

"How is it that you always manage to see the silver lining in everything, Derrick? I’m bleeding from the head here.”

“That was her absolute favorite thing, feeling him smiling when they kissed. It was more than just lust or desire, and it was more than love. It was happily in love, head over heels in love. It was fairy tale love, and ever since they met, Derrick had been slowly transforming into her perfect Prince Charming.”

My Review:

I read 761 pages to write this review, and I would do it again. In addition to the intriguing yet heartbreaking story, I saw and enjoyed a steady progression of an improved writing style as I made my way through the four stories. It was very interesting to watch Ms. Robinson’s prose grow in quality and confidence from book one to the Epilogue after book 3. My jaded heart felt a clench numerous times, and I will also admit to the sting of tears during several devastating and moving moments, particularly those involving her memories her childhood, and moments with his younger sister while they talked about being birds and flying away. I think I will always remember that scene when I see a flock flying overhead. I could intuit from some of the insights provided that this story was written by someone who knows personal pain. I also noticed one of the best and most practical depictions of a dissociative state I have ever read or heard. This was my first Sarah Robinson experience, and since I found myself to have been moved by her talented words, I plan to peruse her listings and add more of her works to my TBR.

The Photographer Series by Sarah Robinson contains some confronting material and should be read by mature readers over 18 that are willing to have an open mind about the material
When I first started reading and seeing where the story was going to be heading I thought the Barista was going to be some creepy stalker. Then I was convinced the bad guy was going to be Derrick because he seemed on the shady side. He didn't seem to want to connect with Kate and I didn't feel real chemistry shared between them. Feeling that way sure threw me for a loop. I would never have expected what happened. It broke my heart into a bunch of pieces.
I don’t like getting to in to the actual details because I never want to give anything away but I did enjoy this book and was glad I was able to read them all together and not have to wait between.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing!! Grab yourself a box of tissues... 5 January 2015

This was a great trilogy, stars off a little slow but then BAM!!! Kate has been thru the most horrific childhood and I personally understand the guilt and shame never leave you!!! When she meets derricks and everything seems to click you wonder that maybe to much to fast can't be real can it??

When the nightmare begins for Kate, I seriously cried! The details the emotional story line pulls you right into it so you feel the pain, the humiliation, everything Kate feels you begin to feel!! As her sister Annie tries to help and gets her to the hospital the real reactions of Derrick comes to the surface as he runs away when Kate needs him the most!!!!

I don't want to give to much away but Kate has more strength than you continue to read this you will understand everything she has went thru and overcame and then WHAM!!!! More loss more pain is she strong enough or will this break her, shatter her, or will she be the winner and overcomes everything and come out happy and In one piece???

4.0 out of 5 stars review 13 February 2015

I usually don`t read books written in 3rd POV. But since I bought the box set, I said - why not :)

This is not a sweet romance, it`s everything but. We meet Kate, who has been through a lot in her life. She only has her sister, and they are really close.
One day she meets a handsome stranger Derrick in a coffee shop, where she likes to hang out. He is everything she wants. They start dating and everything seems fine, until she is attacked one day. She ends up in a hospital, but Derrick just bailes her, insted be there for her. I really didn`t like him at that moment. I wanted to beat some senses into him.
She is scared and left broken. her sister is the only one who stays by her side, while she heals.
I`m glad Derrick came to his senses and came crawling back.

The story picks up right where it left off in part 1. There is way more action than in Tainted bodies. We learn more about Kate`s attacker, she wasn`t his only victim, there were many of them. Derrick is really protective, which I like, he showed more affection and love toward Kate and was determind to find the man who did this to Kate.
I was surprised when I found out who The Photographer was. Wasn`t expected it at all!

This was my favorite part. It was filled with angst and love. I was anxious to see what happens next.

I never thought there would be so many twists and turns at the end. I cried, laughed and yelled at the same time. It was a bit surprising to me that Kate could so easily accept the apology from a person from her past. I know I wouldn`t be so forgiving.

It was a beautiful conclusion to one heck of a story :)

4.0 out of 5 stars Gripping romance crime trilogy that is tastefully done. 2 April 2015

I somehow found about Sarah Robinson through a Facebook post that another author liked. She is so funny with her #RobinsonRamblings. If you get a chance, follow her on Facebook at The box set of her three books, The Photographer Trilogy was on sale for $0.99, so I couldn’t pass it up. The story is about Kate Jackson and Derrick Kane. It is told from several different POV throughout the story.

The Photographer Trilogy is three books in one. I’m going to review the overall story at once instead of each book. Warning: This book deals with sexual assault. If that topic is a trigger for you, this might not be the book for you. Mrs. Robinson is an excellent job discussing the matter. While the scenes were awful, they were not gory or used wording to avoid describing the extent of the violence in them.

Kate in the beginning really annoyed me. She’d let everyone walk all over her. But throughout the book, with everything that happened to her, she grew into an incredibly strong woman. She shined so brightly at the end of the book. I was proud of her.

Derrick. At one point, I wanted to throw my Kindle, my precious, across the room because I was so mad at him. Thankfully he pulls his head out of his butt, got in the game and proved he was a man. By the end of the book, I was singing his praises.

I loved Detective Snow and McCraig in this book. Det. Snow is a female detective that works the case for Kate. She is tenacious and smart. The banter between Snow and McCraig is wonderful and I enjoyed them very much.

As far as the story, I enjoyed it very much. The story moved steadily long. As the story’s intensity increased so did the pace of the story. I liked that a lot. The intensity of the story made you not want to put the story down or feed your kids. Unfortunately, I did figure out who the Photographer early on. I didn’t put together all the pieces until closer to the end. In no way did that take away from the story that was told.

Overall, I like the story and recommend it to anyone looking for a romance crime thriller.

I picked this book up after seeing teasers for it on Facebook. The teasers didn't do it justice!! As you turn the pages, it's like your there, witnessing this story. But what is the best about it, is the victim is like a Phoenix. She rises from the fire stronger then ever. If you haven't picked up this series I highly recommend you do so!!

This book has romance and mystery. I love the characters. Kate is a strong woman that at first doesn't see herself as strong until she is attached and her life is turned upside down. Kate's sisters Annie is strong and free willed but has stood by her sister through her roughest times. Kate's boyfriend Derrick is witty and loves Kate with a passion but their relationship hits a bump in the road when she gets attached. Throughout the book you will see Derrick grow as a man while both Kate and him grow in their relationship. Kate has gone through so much in her life already but she hasn't experienced nothing yet. This book takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions. I laughed and cried through each book. I'm glad I bought the boxed set because if I had to wait to get the the second and third books I would have been an emotional wreck. The first and second book leaves you asking what happened and how will it end for Kate. I loved the ending of the story and how Kate is able to forgive to make her family whole again.
