I like these lights BUT I have to turn on the routine every day. The whole point of purchasing was that I can automate them. The routine for on/off does not have a daily option. It’s bizarre this doesn’t exist in this app. I have multiple smart switches and it’s all automated for settings throughout the day, every day. Why does Philips not have this???
Wie erwartet, optisch schön. Leider gibt die Lampe bei ca 50% Helligkeit ein schrilles Fiepen von sich. Ich werde sie zurücksenden und hoffen dass das keine allgemeine Eigenschaft der Lampen ist.
Nachtrag: Bei der zweiten Lampe konnte ich bisher zum Glück kein Fiepen feststellen.
Nachtrag 2: Auch die zweite Lampe fiept. Ich weiß nicht ob es mir vorher nicht aufgefallen ist oder es sich erst mit der Zeit entwickelt hat. Das Fiepen ist leiser als bei der ersten Birne, aber wenn man weiß, dass es da ist, ist es mindestens genauso nervig. Vorallem wenn die Lampe in unmittelbarer Nähe positioniert ist.

I was not disappointed with these bulbs, on the brightest setting they light up the room well, I even just tried one bulb on its own and was surprised at how bright it was, on a lower setting they give off a nice warm relaxing tone. Not sure if there has been an update as they are not as orange as some peoples seemed from other reviews and photos, I would have like them a little warmer but I love the overall effect from these bulbs.

Great Looking Filament style bulb!

Great looking Hue Bulb. I was hoping Phillips would release a better looking bulb than their all white range, which would of looked terrible in my hallway when fitted in to my clear glass lamp fittings. See pics.
Be aware that you cannot adjust in both warm and cold white temperature zones. This bulb only operates in warm white, so may not be suitable for all.

Lampadine davvero bellissime, ho comprato tutti e tre i tipi per creare un bel lampadario in stile retrospettivo. Lampadine davvero bellissime, ho comprato tutti e tre i tipi per creare un bel lampadario in stile retrospettivo. Tenete bene a mente che non sono regolabili in temperatura colore ma solo in intensità, però presentano un'ottima tonalità di giallo (credo 2700 kelvin) che è ottima per creare una bella atmosfera, sia che le montiate in un lampadario, sia che le montiate in una lampada particolare. Io ne ho montate 3 come lampadario e le uso al 60%, così da avere una luce forte ma non troppo (1080 lumen).
You probably heared by now that philips hue are probably some of the best and most reliable smart lights out there.. So let me tell you how I've found them we have four hubs/ bridges and over 150 bulbs in our house from spot lights to every other type of bulbs.
Things to be aware off. If you buy the hub/bridge with the bulbs they come pre configured with the bulbs. So you have to reset the bulbs to join them to another hub.
You can use more than one hub/bridge in the house I have four.. However you have to switch between the hubs/bridges in the setting.. You won't see all the bulbs and accessories if you have more than one... You will only see the devices on that bridge at one time.
You can only register one hub/bridge to your email so for remote access for the Hue ape to be able to switch your lights on and off anywhere in the world or when your out and about.. you can't access the other hubs. I've tried to set each hub on different emails accounts but the app really doesn't like it starts to get confused when switching to different accounts for the hue app so I hope Hue are reading this.
The recommendation on approx devices to your hub is about 50. So I didn't go over 40 I noticed the switches to turn lights off became sluggish the more I added.. So when you do your numbers cater for the light switches to as a device not just the bulb.
The non Bluetooth versions of the GU10 bulb is longer so they won't fit the the standard Gu10 casing so make sure it's Bluetooth as they re sized them.. These also worked well in my IP65 bathroom and kitchen fittings without problem.
Becarful if your using other smart technologies in your house.. My hive heating system woundnt sync to radiator valves untill I changed the channel frequency of my hubs.. But to change that frequency the hub has to be in a connected state.
If your using Bluetooth bulbs my house is now flooded with Bluetooth bulbs and the issues is they get picked up by other devices when trying to connect so there is alot to flick through. You can't switch this off.
The brightness of the bulb is great and strong and dimmers and changing the light strength is a breeze.
If you are using room light switches with your bulbs I'd definitely get the adapter plates that go over your regular light switch so the remote sits on top. I highly recommend this face plate as it stops people switching the power off as if the power swith is switched off then your bulb isn't smart and you can't connect to it.
The bridges connect first time and any additional bulbs are really easy to sync up.

Really like these lamps, very warm light. Not as bright as the normal Hue ones, but not meant to be. Bought for a (very) minor discount from Amazon Warehouse. Spent half an hour trying to pair, always unsuccessful. Eventually worked it it had been previously paired with its original owners hub. The only way to reset this is to have one of the four button wireless remotes; luckily I had one in another room. Sequence for factory resetting a paired lamp is as follows. Power on so it's lit, then hold the remote close to the lamp. Press and hold 1 & 0 for ten seconds, lamp will start flashing (keep buttons held). When it stops flashing it's reset and then you'll be able to pair
Update September 2020: now flickering at low setting. Unable to return easily. Not impressed.

Great retro looking bulb

Already had some Hue Ambience bulbs inside and wanted to give these a try for a modern lantern-style outdoor light fixture. I think the end result is very pleasing. No issues setting up, Hue app picked them up via its search function right away with no need to enter serial numbers etc. Ended up with 8 of these in total and they're very good. Hopefully they'll last a while as they're not cheap, but I suspect any similar looking LED bulb wouldn't be far off the price, and these come with all the smart features of Hue.
Replaced a horrible looking energy-saving bulb in our kitchen which just didn't look right in our stylish lamp shade. Style works perfectly for our kitchen, above the kitchen table, perfect for a nice dinner without the other spotlights on. Bought a button for it, simple enough for the kitchen. Really love the effect and looks good! I find it slightly overpriced though, but I suppose the price is consistant with the other bulbs.

LED Vintage

These are a great bulb, look the part when turned on or off, I use mine with the Hue bridge only and had no issues at all, I have 3 of these fitted in 1 light fitting, normally set to 50% brightness. really happy with these bulbs and would buy again.
