USEFUL FOR UNINTENDED REASONSReviewed in the United States on 25 January 2017
This work is an important source on Australia's security intelligence as it underlines the progressive left's approach to the subject of Communist infiltration and the treason committed in the name of progress. The book is now seriously out of date with little information from official files and VENONA being used by the author due to their unavailability at the time of writing. This makes the analysis and findings of the book unusable for any modern analysis of the subject other than in providing an insight into Australian academic rigour when dealing with this subject.
