PETKIT EVERSWEET Solo Pet Water Fountain 1.8L with smart dual mode, adjusts the water frequency through self-sensitivity. It comes with an anti-bite power cord, plus a silicone waterproof wiring sleeve. The one-barrel design makes it easy to assemble and clean. The bucket made from premium quality translucent material, offers a better view for monitoring the overall water consumption of your pets. The 1.8L capacity is suitable for most cats and dogs.

The smart LED indicator will alert you when the water level is low, or when it’s time to replace the filter.

    When I first ordered this, I thought it was perfect. It worked well, looked good, and my cats loved it.

    Unfortunately, within a year it stopped working. When I tried to work out what had gone wrong, I quickly located the design flaw:

    The electronics for the pump are under the water level. This would be okay if they were waterproof, but they were not.

    The connections were made to "look" waterproof, but opening it up water poured out of the inside of the wiring. Looking say it, there was no attempt to make it waterproof.

    Not only had water been seeping into the wiring from day one, but the wires had been corroding, and chemicals seeping into the cats drinking water all along too.

    I would only recommend this product, if you were confident to take it apart and rewire it completely to make it waterproof before you use it.

    Otherwise, look for a product where the wiring and connections aren't actually inside the water tank!

    Spent 30 minutes trying to get it to turn on, only to find that the USB port on the unit is defective and won't function unless bent in a certain way. Made difficult by the fact that a USB power source is not included, so wasted time assuming it was something broken on my end.

    Without a USB wall adapter to guarantee compatibility, it would be nice if the company invested an extra 5c into a sturdy port. USB-C would be ideal since it's 2021 and that's what practically every device uses for power.

    'Smart mode' just turns on the water for 3 minutes, then off for another 3 minutes, on repeat. The manual doesn't mention anything about "adjusts the water frequency by self-sensitivity" as mentioned on the listing.

    At this price, look elsewhere.

    Edit: Replacement is working fine, so bumped up to 3 stars.

    I have to buy a new one of these every year or two. The pump or something about the controller always fails. The cats like it though, and it’s relatively cheap on here. You have to thoroughly clean it every 2-3 weeks and it can be a bit fiddly disconnecting and reconnecting the pump and the power.

    Edit: the pump only lasted four months this time. Replacement pumps on here are nearly the same price as a whole unit.

    I find this model to be bothersome with the flashing light and its constant stop and start. It hasn't really worked that well from the start. I had the other more expensive ever sweet for a long time which was great but it finally stopped working so thought this cheaper version should do the trick but its not great value. Annoying for me and the pets who go to source water and it has stopped for no reason.
