Product Description

The New York Times Best Selling Author Nashoda Rose is back with the much anticipated story of Kai and London in the Unyielding series.

Kai
There is nothing I care about.
No attachments.
No connections.
Outwardly, I’m a perfect gentleman.
Until my target sees my knife.
I fear nothing, not even death.
In my world, death is considered a privilege.
But my life comes with unbreakable cruel strings and
when I met her, I should’ve walked away.
I didn’t.
I was too selfish.
And that sealed her fate.
Because one week with me led her into the hands of ruin.

London
We all have unique layers that make up who we are.
What makes us vulnerable or strong.
What we fear and what excites us.
But peel back those layers and you’re left exposed.
They did that to me.
Each piece was slowly stripped away then burned.
I merely existed.
But there was one layer they overlooked.
The most important of them all—the tie to one man.
The man responsible for me being this way.
The man who found me.
And the killer who would do anything to protect me.

We are first introduced to Kai and London in Emily and Logan's story (Tear Asunder series) in the compound run by Logan's father Raul, the sex-trafficker. Although London is introduced as Raven. Kai has always been the "loyal" son to his mother who runs Vault, but after meeting London and spending time with her, they both realise that it is more. Kai's mother finds out about the two of them and has London kidnapped and sold to Raul, whilst her father is coerced into making a drug for Vault to help with the "conditioning " of their subjects. This book is slightly longer than Deck and Georgie's but Nashoda had a lot of ground to cover, with attempting to take Vault down. Great and intense read and now I'm looking forward to Connor and Catalina next:)

There is never a doubt in my mind whenever I pick up a Nashoda Rose novel, that by the time I reach it’s end a little piece of my heart will forever belong to it’s characters. And that could not be truer than with Book Two of the Unyielding series Perfect Ruin. I have been waiting for Kai’s story ever since I got a taste of him in Torn from You and then watched as his story and personality began to unfold more in Book One, Deck and Georgie’s story Perfect Chaos. But hot damn I don’t think anything could prepare me for the absolute heart wrenching and twisted world that our mysterious Kai was born from.

Where do I even begin to describe everything about this book? Nashoda once again has taken the truly dark and twisted world of sex trafficking, organised crime and torture and fused it perfectly with an absolutely beautiful, heart wrenching story of two people from completely opposite worlds, then wrapped it all together with plenty of blood chilling suspense, insane physical attraction and a roller coaster of feels that have left me with a book hangover so big that the only thing that will fix it, will be the next book in the series when it is released next year!

Kai – Intense, mysterious, sexy as sin and as lethal as they come. He is always in control, for years he was trained to be. Tortured until he felt nothing, stripped down until he had nothing left, and taught two fundamental rules…Death was a privilege that people who crossed him would beg for, and connections were liabilities. His assignment was simple, use London as an incentive to get her scientist father to give them what they wanted and then walk away.

I had many emotions reading this story, anger, sadness and empathy, perfect ruin is kai and london's story who we first met in perfect chaos -and yes you have to read perfect chaos first otherwisenyou will feel like you are dropped in partway through the story. Although each book is about a different couple their stories are interwoven. This is not necessarily a romance as it has a datk element with tourtur, kidnapping, sex trafficking and slavery. Kai trained on the 'farm' along with his sister from childhood, sent theirby their evil mother after she killed their father and other kidnapped children to be a killer stripped of his emotions his does his job efficiently and emotionessly until he meets London. London the daughter of the scientist forced to work for the 'vault' an organization controlled by kais mother and responsible for the farm, to develop a drug they want to use.
I dont want to give any more away but this is a must read series and definatly a five star bok.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

This is a book for lovers of dark reads. It contains a secret organisation, human trafficking, kidnapping, murder and violence. It is well paced story that is full of action and romance.

As for the characters, I loved Kai. He is a cold calculating killer but through his fascination with London he starts to rediscovery his humanity. She reaches his heart when nothing or no one else has. London is good, warm and loving and enduring what was does shows how strong she is.

Perfect Ruin is an excellent story and I look forward to reading Perfect Rage in 2016.
