Product Description

“When life threatens perfect, it’s time to step up and kick life in the balls.”

Ella's perfect moment was taken from her in the worst possible way. Humiliated, heartbroken and absolutely determined not to allow her heart be destroyed for a second time, she builds an ice wall around her heart.

Preston has known he was in love with his big sister's best friend since the age of fifteen. Over ten years on, and an opportunity to be her knight in shining armour is too good to miss. Putting his heart on the line, he's on a mission to show Ella that the perfect moment is possible.

Ella's instinct is to run when she realises her feelings for her bestie's little brother may just run a little bit deeper than just friends. But if she can't run, she'll try every trick in the book to shake off his affection and realign his feelings.

She’s already had her perfect moment, and there is no chance she'll let her heart thaw for Preston. No matter how good he looks in the firefighter's Christmas calendar.

Ella fought the pull of the attraction towards Preston. He was her BFF's little brother. Only two years younger didn't make him so little. Preston has been in love with Ella for years. Ella decides a relationship with Preston sounds pretty good even though she has trust issues from a previous relationship. Everything is going great! Ella's learning to trust again until a co-worker of Preston's, Ben, plants a seed of doubt in Ella's ear. You must read this book to find out what Ben has to do with Ella and Preston. SHOCKING!!!

Fantastic book! Preston is a sexy, gorgeous, loyal, and completely adorable Australian Fire Fighter, who loves to surf. WOW! Is there a more perfect book boyfriend? I think not! Ella is a beauty and very cautious. Considering how her fiance cheated on her, she has every right to be. This is a story of love, loyalty, learning to trust again, and healing. I laughed and cried right along with the characters in this book. Jo, Preston's sister and Ella's best friend, is fantastic and I can't wait for her and Liam's story. Thank you Becca Lee for an amazingly funny and sexy afternoon read.

This is the first book that I have read by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it..... I cannot wait to read her followup book A Perfect Love....

This is a beautiful romance story where we follow the life of Ella who at the start of the book discovers her life shattered when betrayed by a boyfriend.... she promises herself that this will not happen to her again so she closes herself off to the possibility of finding happy ever after.....

We come to her BFF's Wedding Day where Ella is part of the Wedding Party for Jo...... We learn that Jo's "baby" brother (he's 2 years younger) has for the past 10 years had the "hots" for Ella....

After Jo goes away on her honeymoon we follow Ella and Preston through lots of twists and turns...... I am not going to spoil what happens any more than I already have but let's just say there are Hot Fireman...... Lots of Hot Surfers and twists and turns that you will not see coming.......

You will have to read this book to find out if Ella get's her HEA...... I have given this book 5 BIG STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed this story that was set in my backyard. It was familiar and nice to hear about lots of places that I visit regularly. The best part of this story was the fact that I didn't realise it was set in Australia for at least two chapters. I had an inkling, but it wasn't confirmed until she started talking about utes and a few 'bloodys' came out. Too many Australian authors tend to go overboard with how we talk, to appeal to overseas readers. This book was a lot closer to the mark. There will still be a few words that will stump readers and probably need clarification, but not OTT.

Now for the storyline....I like it. Preston was seriously in love with his older sister's best friend and she had no idea. It was Preston's job to convince her they could be happy together.

There was angst, conflict and a little mystery thrown in. A few good laughs and with some sexy bits as well. It was a great story and I will definitely be reading more from this author.

A Perfect Moment by Becca Lee is the first book in her Perfect series. Set in Australia, this romance will, in equal parts, break your heart and mend it back together. Well-paced, well-written, with some great use of Aussie dialect, but not-overly done (I did have to look up Yute, even though I was pretty sure what it meant) it lends to the story without distracting.

Ella had her perfect moment ruined by the one person she was ready to spend her life with but with the help of her closest friends she has picked herself back up and is doing well. A bit closed off and protective of herself, but well.

Preston has been in love with Ella, his older sister's best friend since he hit puberty. He's fed-up with being placed in the kid-brother role and is stepping up to make Ella see him for who he is and not who she has always viewed him to be.

When those "kid-brother" glasses come off and she finally views him as a man she has a decision to make as to the direction she needs to take her life in. With Preston, who she is quickly falling for, or remain closed off to love and lose him forever.

Add in some major drama and revenge that blends seamlessly with the romantic storyline and you'll be on the edge of your seat waiting to see how this story unfolds.

Up next: A Perfect Love and A Perfect Chance
