Product Description

The thrilling, shocking and romantic sequel to the bestselling YA debut FLAWED is finally here. When we embrace all our flaws, that’s when we can finally become PERFECT…

Celestine North lives in a society that demands perfection. After she was branded Flawed by a morality court, Celestine's life has completely fractured – all her freedoms gone.

Since Judge Crevan has declared her the number one threat to the public, she has been a ghost, on the run with the complicated, powerfully attractive Carrick, the only person she can trust. But Celestine has a secret – one that could bring the entire Flawed system crumbling to the ground.

Judge Crevan is gaining the upper hand, and time is running out for Celestine. With tensions building, Celestine must make a choice: save only herself, or risk her life to save all the Flawed. And, most important of all, can she prove that to be human in itself is to be Flawed…?

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect is Flawless 14 April 2017

Perfect is the sequel to Flawed by Cecelia Ahern, and it was beautiful. Ahern keeps up the fast paced nature of the first book along with heart-rending moments that remind us of historical moments of the worst of humankind. Our heroine, Celestine, is on the run, hiding from the Whistleblowers as a Flawed evader, her grandfather arrested, her parents under watch, with no one she can trust around her. More betrayals occur in this book than I can even fathom, nice people turn out to be ruthless, and even the people she trusts most have agendas. Even though she doesn’t want to be, Celestine is still the poster girl for change and for Flawed rights. The Vital party is using her words to advance their mission, and while she agrees with what they say they want, her fear of betrayal makes her hesitant to trust that Enya Sleepwell will continue on a path that helps the Flawed once she receives power, because so far everyone with power has let her down. The brightest spots in her life, even though you barely see them in this book, are her family. Her parents unwavering love to do whatever they need to, to try to bring everything that happened to light and save their daughter, her sister Juniper is willing to risk her own life to protect her. Their family bonds are so much stronger than any Flawed label or government order can break. Without the people that unwaveringly love her, I don’t think this dystopic duology would have been able to have any happiness. Read these books. Think hard on what it discusses and brings to light. The themes in this are so important.

I couldn't wait for this follow-up. Flawed was such an interesting and exciting story. None like I have ever read. I cannot believe that this was a YA book. I was immediately hooked when I saw the cover. Now after reading these first 6 chapters (of Perfect), I am ready to know how this will all end. Such a powerful introduction too. I have questions. Will Crevan be brought down? Will Celestine be vindicated? Will the Guild's reign come to an end? I want more details on Carrick as well. Although you are given a few details into what occurred in Flawed, I strongly suggest reading it prior to reading Perfect. Okay then. Enough said. I must get the complete book now and find out what happens. I am hooked.
3.0 out of 5 stars Perfect disappointment after #1 Flawed 6 June 2017

I feel the two books should have been one That would have avoided the awkward repetition of facts in #2.
I really enjoyed the concept of the acceptability of many Flaws in #1, but found the concept did not progress in #2 but sank into a miasma of a unrealistic behaviour of powerful people.
Also realised the books were for Young Adults so probably I was not the right audience.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect 21 June 2017

Perfect is a "perfect" continuation of the storyline and characters introduced in Flawed. I truly love both Flawed and Perfect and everything they represent. There is a lot of character development of both Celestine and Carrick. In Perfect, Celestine grows as a person and a leader. There are several Celestine and Carrick moments where they become more than just friends.:) Celestine's tape of Crevan gives her power and a plan. Celestine stands up for herself and the entire flawed community. Perfect is a must-read that sums up a perfectly flawed story in a wonderful way.
4.0 out of 5 stars Slightly Hunger Games-esque 7 April 2017

This book definitely kept me on my toes. With the first book (Flawed), I felt more of a disconnect and it was slower paced, though I realize that is probably to provide a thurough background to build up and develop the storyline and characters. While I enjoyed this book, I did find it slightly reminiscent of the Hunger Games series...
