Bought this one because of the recharging aspect, but haven't recharged yet so can't speak to that. It does seem very bright. Note that at its most narrow focus, the beam turns into a square shape with a distinct "computer-chip" look to it - I guess that's the shape of the actual LED emitter. Somewhat weird looking but no reason why it should cause problems. The focus control works well, spreading the tight beam out to any desired width (and it turns round then). Very heavy duty .. very heavy actually. Glad I bought it.
This is 1 heck of a flashlight for its size. Very bright, has SOS feature and zoom that can go up to 100 feet. Comes with rechargeable battery as well as option for regular AAA batteries. Also comes in a nice case but I won't be using it at all because I'll be using this flashlight a lot. Hope it lasts a long time.
My only concern is lithium battery & the notice that it could explode & they aren’t responsible. Hope that doesn’t happen! Like the brightness & different & changes so I can find my dogs or scare other animals off in our very dark yard with a forest behind us. It is fenced in but still worry.
Very bright for a small LED flashlight. Battery does not need recharging that often. I use it daily for taking the puppy for a walk. With otherther flashlights I would be constantly changing the AAA batteries. This light has already paid for itself in battery purchases.
By chance we just had a 12 hour power outage and this flashlight, standing precariously upright, lighted the whole room where the stairs to the second level of the house are. The room was not bright enough for reading but the light was very useful for safety.
Love this flashlight. Very durable as I am a truck driver and yes I drop tools every now and then. Only issue is I can't seem to find a case that it will fit in so I can grab easily. And string handle broke off.
