2.0 out of 5 starsNot a bad little free ebook, more than 50% are images and 3 sentence pages

Fantastic title. It got me to snag it a few weeks ago just before Christmas while doing my final holiday shopping, just on speck. I mean, hey, it was free, right?
Well, it's worth the price, which many (and this is a point in his favor, and you should know) all too many of the short free ebooks the reviews amusingly state that they weren't worth the free price because the poor slobs then wasted their time reading the book.
It's a useful little idea which I think I've read in a number of blogs. Without his author page, I don't mean to besmirch his name, because HE may have been an early proponent of this at his blog for all I know.
But, um, the AMAZING passive income is to write and publish kindle ebooks.
The title makes it sound like wow skippie shazam. Not that I realistically expected that for free and under 30 pages.
Oh, and the "26 pages"?
Are mostly 3 sentences with an image on the corresponding page.
I don't want to actually give away the author's Intellectual Property, but what he says "doesn't work for promoting your ebooks" he then.... Um. There's some the rings false about it. If you "buy" it while it's free and read it, you'll see what I mean without my stepping on his toes.
Promotion: first start with a large well-established email list like he has and has already developed for years. Hmmm, do you already have one having built things up for years at ClickBank? Without it, good luck achieving even a small fraction of what he's purporting here.
OK, this ebook is one of the ones he cites with an illustration or two as his case study. I had to go back and double check it a few times, but yes, this is the book. It's cited to have 34 reviews. My review will make it number 11. Not sure what happened there. It might be that he had another format up and then he deleted that as an option. And that by so doing he lost those related reviews? I can't imagine paying anything for this information which other authors around the same time have provided with so much more additional useful information.
UPDATE: it's not THIS book. THAT book has the exact same title as this book. However, that is a full length book. Maybe he goes into 2 of the only areas I was interested in with more details? Who knows. Because after his massive under delivery here, I wouldn't spend a dime with him. I'll go search for other books on the two topics I wanted to learn more about.
Offering it for free is fine. I think all he's using it for now is in hopes to grow his email list. It's a helpful little guide which is probably really about 7 pages of content, but maybe no one looks at that free short reads category.
Um, no Author Page to cite his authority or creds. But the title sure is great, so it certainly will likely continue to "sell."
For him, good little lead magnet. Just, I'm ok that something is a lead magnet for free or low price point. Just, wow me at that level, and then I'd trust you to over deliver when I put down my money for something.
The other book does have an author's page. Looks like a perfectly nice man. Maybe he'll be more to your taste than mine.
The author promises this is a quick read and delivers a way to generate passive income in 30 days. Buying the book does not mean you’re going to take him up on his technique, however, he’s suppose to make convincing arguments explaining how to do it.
I think he did.
Was it the brevity of the book? Was it his writing style? I don’t know but I found myself believing if I take the steps, and it requires work just as he says, I’d make money.
It’s about writing books for the Amazon Kindle store. The book tells you what to do as a plan. You still have to figure out how to write the book, but the outline of how to do it is there. Tips and techniques to shorten your journey are there.
nothing much here - so short i'd call it a pamphlet not a book - with little actual information, all of which could be summed up by "write chapter titles, then subtitles, now dictate the content for each, edit and sell." If i'd paid for this i'd want my money back, even if it were only 99 cents
A person who is New to this, which I am, would be confused in the step by step section. I think you are lacking a lot of information needed for a person to honestly publish an ebook. What about book design. How to get your book listed on amazon. There's some important factors missing for a person who doesn't know where to begin.
