Product description

Review

Wow! This book was very hard to put down. The Parchment is a truly captivating read with a fascinating, imaginative story line. All the characters are vivid and full of life. I can clearly picture both Ethan and Mrs. Hobbs throughout the story. Ethan is such a bright, young boy with a pure soul and a good heart. His loving mother is constantly worrying about him, but she is also trying to let him grow and learn things on his own. The book appeals to both children and their parents. I already ordered an extra one for my nephews, and I absolutely cannot wait to read the sequel. Thanks for sharing this story with us, Sketa! (Genna - Amazon Purchaser)

"This is a Great book for all ages, younger readers will benefit from the can do attitude and strong family values." (Glenda - Amazon Purchaser)

About the Author

Selina Kucks alias Sketa' is a writer, educator, linguist and an artist - in every sense of the word. Inspired to write this unusually, captivating tale by her son, she juggles many balls at once while homeschooling him in Seoul, Korea. My son is an avid reader and asked if I would write a story for him. It would save us buying so many books, ' he said. You could write the things you want.' And why would I want to do that? I asked. He paused for a while and answered with a massive smile on his face, Just cause you're my mum...' Well Ethy, here is a particularly different tale to add to your wonderful collection. Don't read too fast! I've not yet finished the second."
