2.0 out of 5 stars Unbelievable! 1 July 2015
By Kindle Customer - Published on Amazon.com

Unbelievable is the one word I thought to use to describe this story line! I found it difficult to believe they would agree to wed when they hadn't even met face to face! Then for them to move forward with a relationship within two weeks of meeting while trying to deal with the lost of a loved one is once again...Unbelievable!!! It took us three quarters of reading this book to get through two weeks and a quarter of the book was dedicated to the the couple's present and future relationship. Once again Unbelievable!! The only reason I read book one is because I believe book two and three will be much better!! Wishing myself good luck for a good read from books 2 and 3!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Dante was abusive under the guise of romance. Yuck. 22 March 2015

I didn't like Dante at all. I thought he was manipulative, a liar and a stalker. Everything had to go his way how and when he wanted it to go. He decided that he wanted Emily and nothing else mattered, not even how Emily felt about it. She said no, so he tricked her. She said she wasn't ready to move on, so he drags her to therapy anyway and bullies her into doing it. She tells him to leave her alone so he follows her and crowds her space anyway.

The saddest point is that all of her friends and family push her toward Dante at every turn all because they want her to have a man.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great read 29 June 2016

This was a great read! I really enjoyed this story of love found
again after a loss. I loved the decisiveness of Dante as well as Emily's inability to accept her feelings for Dante. I really like the concept created as the back drop of the purpose for the resort. Dante, throughout the story showed his true affection for Emily and it took her time to understand that by allowing herself the chance at love again didn't mean she didn't still love Melvin. Great story and easy read. The only downside are the short paragraphs. I recommend this book as a first time reader of Tina Martin books.

I know most romance novels require you to suspend reality just a bit to get into the story...but this one requires that you suspend just about all reality and throw your common sense right out the door. The whole setup by the H is dumb and the h wasn't very likable to me. Everything was backwards (who willingly married someone knowing that they're not over their dead ex) and I just didn't enjoy reading it at all. I'm debating whether or not I'm going to finish the series.
