A must have for any record collection, and any fan of Prince.

This edition contains additional artwork inside and lyrics for each song (although not the easiest to read - purple lyrics on a dark background in the purple rain font).

I picked this up for £12 here, very reasonable, average price according to another source is £16, highest is £26!

This edition has the code 8122799149 on it.

3.0 out of 5 stars The quality of this reissue is not as high as other Prince reissues. A little disappointing.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 July 2016
The quality of this reissue doesn't hold up to other Prince reissues. Instead of a printed inner sleeve you get a plane white one, what should have been printed on the sleeve is on a separate piece of paper that folds out and is plain white on the reverse, very cheap looking. I've got a few scuffs on side B of the record so that's disappointing. Also as someone else noted on Discogs "On side one, the hand written matrix number (the 9 and 6 of R1-25110-A S-66596) cross into the runout groove causing a nasty multiple crackle. I'm not sure this is good for a stylus so now I try to lift off before this point is reached"

By comparison the quality of the 1999 reissue is superb! The recent reissues of For You & his self titled album Prince are also of good quality. I'm a little disappointed with this one to be honest.
