I enjoyed this tale of a young guy heading from Australia to his family home in Switzerland by any travel means other than by air. The meat of the story lies in his crossing Mongolia in a beat up 125cc Honda. Quite an undertaking for anyone! It was available as a free Kindle book when I read it but I think there is a small charge atm? If you like reading travelogues then most readers will enjoy this.
I'm a lover of travelogue books being a self published travel auther myself and having read scores over the years I was pleasantly surprised when I read Ewans story. The simplicity in his journey really does draw you in and the experiences he had and took on I'm sure will mould him in life's endless jounery. It's a must read and the section with noddy really is epic, well done Ewan and maybe one day I will be lucky enough to ride a reindeer too
What a great travel experience for the author and the reader. I didn’t want to put it down. Following Ewan and his bike Noddy was fantastic. Well written and great storyteller.. Highly recommended to anyone who has travelled to any of his places or not.
A well written account of a very long journey. An adventure of a lifetime, written to take the reader on that adventure. Will probably have to read it again, worth looking at the photos at the end to give a better insight to the written account.
