Devney's writing just keeps getting better. Sabrina and Beau are quiet the pair. While the idea behind trapping characters together has been done before, as with most novels of any genre, Devney managed to put a twist on it. The Outpost is a place I would love to visit. The serenity described, the beauty of the setting i think added to a story that would have been bland without it.
Sabrina is fierce, determined and loves to be independent. She was a great character to grow to like and then love. I must admit for a tiny moment i thought she was a bitch, but Devney redeemed her pretty quickly.
Beau is the strong quiet type. I was always told to watch out for those quite types, and Beau would be the reason why. Such a strong centered character, i really love him. Any other character and i think this book would have been just ok. He made it for me.
The reappearance of other characters and the possibility of new story lines were everywhere and i loved that too. While the book is set in an isolated setting it never felt like it was disconnected from the series.
Truly worth the time it takes to read. Its a solid journey that left feeling all the feels and wanting more.
