Product Description

Everyone deserves a second chance

After the death of his best friend in the Battle of Atlanta, Tanner Burnett walked away from the civil war. Now, ten years later, he runs with the Sam Bass gang, trying to escape the memories of that horrible battle. But when a stagecoach robbery goes bad, he rescues injured Elizabeth Anderson, wanting only to get her to a doctor and rejoin his gang. But the injured beauty needs a nurse and Tanner is unprepared for the way Beth soothes his wounded heart and heals his spirit. Until he takes her to Fort Worth, Texas and learns she’s his brother’s mail order bride.

What Reviewers Are Saying About This Western Historical Romance
“I enjoyed this whole series. Ms McDaniel has infused humor, romance and danger through the whole story. Mrs. Burnett is hilarious and makes the books worth reading all on her own!” ~~ Ramona
“Wow!! Sylvia McDaniel knows how to write western romances! Tanner is the bad boy and she's the good girl. Add a band of outlaws and that she's a mail order bride and it's a great read!!” ~~ Mom of 4
“A wonderful Western romance full of great characters. Texas is described so well I could almost taste the dust. Really enjoyed this story and I recommend it to all romance lovers.” ~~ Loves Reading
“Mail order bride, stagecoach robbery, the “good” bad guy, and deceit. What more could you want or expect from a western romance book? This story delivers it all. A good read! ~~ Tracey L Monaghan
