Like all the other books in the series this presents believable characters in a romance that you want to see work. And its the one, on face value, that probably has it the hardest. The band member, Dan, hits rock bottom. Indigo has her own share of problems.
Despite everything they remain likable and people that you want to see get together. Its tender, even with all the rough spots they hit in their lives. What struck me was how the story could be both sweet and utterly believable, the characters coming across as authentic and real. That each book focuses on one member of a rock band adds a depth to the books, as the struggles of the band on the verge of really breaking through gives a greater meaning to everything that is going on.
Yes these books aren't hard reads, but if you like romance stories where you can actually see how the romance really affects peoples' lives for the better than you need to read these books.
