About the Author
Rachael Stewart adores conjuring up stories, from heartwarmingly romantic to wildly erotic. She's been writing since she could put pen to paper as the stacks of scrawled-on pages in her loft will attest to. A Welsh lass at heart, she now lives in Yorkshire with her very own hero and three awesome kids, and if she's not tapping out a story, she's wrapped up in them or enjoying the great outdoors. Reach her on Facebook, Twitter (@rach_b52) or rachaelstewartauthor.com.--This text refers to an alternate kindle_edition edition.

This book contains:
• Multiple detailed sex scenes
Faye is the best friend of the bride and her Maid of Honour. She’s had her own problems over the past few years with the death of her mother and the end of her marriage but she’s happy now.
Meanwhile, Rafael is the brother of the bride, closed off, emotionally cold but o so sexy and irresistible! He comes with the baggage of his parents failed marriage and doesn’t believe that people should get married, including his little sister.
It’s got the typical boy stumbles upon girl and instant attraction. They fight it but eventually get together.
In Rachael’s case we’ve gone back to some explicit sex thrown in for good measure. I mean, can they really fight their attraction long enough to not sneak off to have sex during the wedding festivities in a castle?
But it’s also not Rachael if there wasn’t an undercurrent of something more serious. In this case, she touches on rediscovering your sexuality, learning to move on and families recovering from past trauma together.
My first thought is that I love that Rachael has gone back to including explicit sex. I’m sorry, but that sweet romance just felt so wrong based on all of her other work I’ve read! She does the steamy sex in amongst such serious stuff so well that I was missing it.
The way that Rachael balances the emotional development and drama with the sex is perfect. You can be with one character all caught up in their head or helping other people or having fun with the family. Then right as you start to go “yea but where’s the romance?” BOOM! Rachael delivers!
I don’t think I’ve read any other author that can balance these aspects so well and create such a compelling story that you’re emotionally invested the whole way through to such a deep level. She’s definitely one of my favourite authors! Which is a first since usually my favourites do series!

I am once again starting off a review for a Rachael Stewart book with lyrics from a song. For the Queen of Steam strikes again as I did indeed burn!
I’m currently in mourning for my ovaries (don’t laugh!). Rafael was just too much for them *shrugs*. Characters like Rafe are catnip to me in books. What can I say? I just adore ‘watching’ the emotionally closed off ones take the fall – despite their adamant protestations of such an event ever happening. Perish the thought! *snorts*
I can’t think of a better way to spend a few hours of reading than being whisked away to a Tuscan castle to attend the Wedding of the Year and *hopefully* being ravished by a man who’d make you forget your own name (if only I was given half the chance *sighs wistfully*).
As one of my bestie’s put it, “Dayum! That Italian molto bene.” *nods wholeheartedly*
Maid of honour Faye and brother of the bride Rafael were perfection. Yes, their physical connection may be off the charts, but their emotional connection (intense to the max!) spoke volumes to me. Invested? You could say that.
As readers we always spot things first, don’t we? Rafe helps to empower Faye after an emotionally tumultuous time. Can Faye put a crack in Rafe’s emotional protective armour at the same time? *winks* (It’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it!)
Hot, steamy, emotional, (sheesh, I’ve used that word a LOT!) and full of swoon, OLS is everything I’ve come to expect from a Rachael Stewart read and is a perfect example of why I suffer from Unrealistic Expectations-itis.
Some things are just worth the risk as Rafe and Faye are about to find out!
