He can’t help the way he feels whenever he’s around her, but she’s already taken and Micah doesn't want to disrupt her life or get himself in anymore trouble. But then his attraction for Reign proves too strong to deny, and Micah finds that he just might discover a reason to stop running.

5.0 out of 5 stars A beautiful Love Story. 6 February 2015

First I wanted to thank Shane, for offering me to send me an E copy, in exchange of review. I’m glad that she did because Shane Morgan did it once again. So far, the books that I have read by her been breathing taking, addictive, memorable. Our Kind Of Love wasn’t any different, the second I opened the first page, I was hooked. If I didn’t have to work, I would probably finished faster than I did. Our Kind Of Love was real, at least to me it felt real, the characters, along with a story. It was a type of a story that I can actually see happening in real life. That’s what I love about Morgan’s writing, the way that she describes and portrays her characters, you feel as if you are there with the characters in the story. That’s how I felt while reading Our Kind Of Love. I felt like I was there with both Reign and Micah, going through all emotions that they were, I even wanted to talk some sense into Reign. To me, the story was magical. A story that I will find myself wondering about long after I come to the end.

Reign & Micah, first of all I completely love the names, especially Reign, a name that you barely see and that made it more unique. You can’t help but love both of the characters, I know that I did. How can you not? Especially Micah, he’s a type of guy that I wouldn’t mind getting to know better. I believe that Micah is type of guy that almost every girl dreams of. I saw how girls wanted him from moment that he appeared, Reign included even if she wouldn’t admit it at first. I could tell from start, from the moment he saw her even before he started working with her that there was some sort of connection between two of them. A connection that her and Nate didn’t have. Micah treated her like any girl should be treated, with respect. I was waiting for her to figure out that he was one for her. He’s the one that made her happy. Of course when she finally did, I couldn’t help but smile.

It’s not too often that I dislike character. Expect Nate was one of those characters that I couldn’t like, no matter how hard I tried to. I mostly tried to like him because I liked Reign and I figured that there must been something that she saw in him. Plus the way he treated her half of time, and how he tried pressuring her into sex, it was hard for me to like him. At same time I could tell, that despite all that he did love her. I just wished he showed it in better way, maybe then he wouldn’t lose her. All through book I couldn’t help but wonder what Micah did, to land himself in Juvie, in beginning of novel. I had feeling it would be bad, but it turned out not be what I was expecting, I just don’t see Micah the type to do something that violent. Despite his past, Reign stood by his side, now that’s a love that will last a lifetime. I loved how Morgan ended the novel. It describes both their relationship and them well.

Our Kind Of Love, is a story about friendship, love and letting go. It’s a beautiful. If she wasn’t already, she would be one of my favorite writers already. Shane Morgan knows a way to capture reader’s attention, she’s going go a long way.

I think the story dragged on a bit longer than it should have. I really don't know if I liked it or not.

3.0 out of 5 stars an easy, simple read that will leave you heart warmed and smiling. 30 December 2014
By Lisa Jane (LJ) - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
3.5/5

Shane Morgan has a beautiful YA novel with this one. The story line is sweet and has that touch of drama and angst.

The characters are strong and come through to the reader. I do have to say though that it's an awful lot like the other YA books out there. Boy with dark past meets good girl they fall in love.

Reign is a sweet girl, a good girl with a secret that she can't reveal and a boyfriend who she claims to love. Micah is the hot young thing that pops into town and is everywhere Reign looks. As they get to know each other their pasts ome to light and even things in their present get clear.

This was an easy, simple read that will leave you heart warmed and smiling.

5.0 out of 5 stars Our Kind Of Love is a realistic New Adult story about a girl ... 6 July 2014
By Stormy - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Our Kind Of Love is a realistic New Adult story about a girl struggling to overcome the ghosts of her past and a boy fighting his way through the guilt of his mistakes.

This story takes place in summer and it had that summer vacation feel to it that I like and find perfect for a summer read. So, if that's what your looking for...ADD THIS TO YOUR LIST.

It starts off with Micah getting a crush on this mystery girl in the park. He's attracted to her right off the bat, but she's gone before he has a chance to approach her. Turns out she's his new boss's daughter. And the attraction is mutual. I found Micah's crush on Reign to be a little awkward, but reality is that CRUSHES ARE AWKWARD. Soon that awkwardness faded and real chemistry started to bloom between the two young adults. One problem though...Reign has a boyfriend. I couldn't stand Nate. It irritated me that Reign stayed with him as long as she did, but she came to her senses and I applauded the girl, loudly.

Reign is a people pleaser. She doesn't like to disobey her parents and she's been called boring more then once in her life. I found her to be the opposite, actually. She was pretty refreshing, to be honest. As was Micah, he's not a virgin and he'shad his share of hook ups, but he wasn't a man whore. He had his guy moments where he thought of squeezing the globes of Reign's asscheeks, but he was really quite the gentlemen. He's a bad boy in the sense that he's done bad things but he's not at all a bad guy. They both have their problems, their insecurities, that make them complicated but all the more likable to me. I loved their moments of jealousy. To me that's a fun emotion to read about. It's just so human.

I found myself in deep with this story. I fell for the characters and it's so realistic. These characters have real problems that you or me might have. I think the plot was great and the drama level was believable and spot on. Not overdone in the least. That's what had me.

The only thing I could complain about was the grammar errors, but that really didn't bother me. I'm not one to harp on that, anyway. I always knew what was meant and being said. The writing style was good, I loved each voice. Micah was amazing as was Reign.

Really happy I got to read their story.

I was provided with a PDF copy of OUR KIND OF LOVE for an honest review.

Honestly, I give it 5 stars for my utter enjoyment. Shane Morgan has become an author I can rely on for entertaining me with her stories. Check out her books and support this wonderful new author.
