This was a very different feel of what I have perceived of vampires and how they are usually portrayed . I actually got caught up and enjoyed the “living” day to day of the colony. The fantasy became a reality for a time as I read for ages into this really touching and tense read.
Really great established characters and real life dilemmas to follow. What would you do a a human?
There are lots of storylines but all connected and not “too much” to cope with
I thoroughly enjoyed this read by Mr Hennessy I’m not usually a fantasy reader but was happy to read another book by this author and looking forward to the next
