I work from home and recently purchased a sit to stand desk for my home office. Before I purchased these trays( I bought two) my cables were everywhere in sight. These trays adhere very well to under side of my desk. They are supporting quite a bit of weight from power strips, a docking station, and monitor power cords and are holding up well. I gave 4 stars for sturdiness because when I plug something into the power strip that is on the tray it does seem to move and I have been afraid that this will eventually cause the tray to fall. But right now it's working perfectly.

A lot of 1-star reviews... but

I received this a few days ago and followed the directions:
1. Clean surface (thoroughly)
2. Apply adhesive onto clean surface (making sure I applied a good amount of pressure across the entire bracket)
3. Let it cure and occasionally apply pressure for at least 24h before adding any weight.

There are a lot of 1-star reviews because:
1. The cuts on the edges are not clean - this is true. The cuts on the side edges of the unit are pretty poor and there is definitely some chipping on my unit as well but it's more of a visual thing and since it's at the back side of my desk, I won't ever see those chips anyways.

2. Adhesion is poor - I've only had it for a few days but it's holding up very well so far. I can't imagine it falling off because the adhesive tape is very strong. It's not 3M branded but it's similar enough to VHB which is used to hold up car bumpers. I don't know if other people got bad pieces of tape but it works fine for me. Just follow the directions and make sure you apply pressure throughout the first 24h.

tl;dr
The tray isn't the best and there are some quality issues but I'm ok with them as long as it works. I like it because it's wider than most trays out there and allows you to fit a decent sized surge protector on it. Price is a little eh for an extruded piece of plastic with some cuts in it.

Adhesive is not good enough

Looked and worked great as I installed it and got my cable situation in order. However, while I was standing back admiring my new clean space under my desk the organizer fell down. This was probably no less than 45 minutes after installing it. I do like the organizer so I will have to think of some other way to keep it connected. Screws aren't an option for this desk nor is the space big enough to get a screwdriver/drill anyways.

Does Not Stick Well

The cable tray was the right size and I liked the openings in the back/middle where I could exit the cables. While the tray itself is sturdy, the tape/adhesion was not strong enough to stick once the weight of the cables was in the tray. Thought about just using screws to attach to underside of desk, but there is not enough room to get a screw/screwdriver in to secure it. A hole in the bottom of the tray on either side where you could insert a screwdriver to install a screw at the top of the tray would have been helpful. Without that option, I had to get creative to securely attach it to the desk....
