As an older nurse many of the stories reminded me of my earlier days of training and the many funny things that happened. As nurses we all need that ability to laugh at some of the situations we find ourselves in. It certainly gave me a nice feeling of days gone by. Recommend it to those who would like a book to shed lightness and laughter after hard days on the job.

I downloaded this and Thats why I am proud to be a nurse at the same time, this was not as boring as the first book. As a former nurse i thought I could relate to them and in some parts yes, but mostly I was bored.

Not sure why I gave the second starReviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 October 2018
I have just retired after a long career in Nursing and purchased this because I thought it would make me giggle ! How wrong was I I never even smiled ... Nothing remotely funny about this and the way they refer to the Elderly in their care quite frankly was outdated and patronising
Not just for nursesReviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 June 2014
I am not a nurse but I am fascinated by the proffession. (Family were medics) I laughed so much at some of these stories I almost had 'tears running down my leg' Some of the acroynyms I didn't understand but that didn't really matter as I could understand the humour behind the story. I loved this book.

Light-hearted FunReviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 December 2016
This might seem a low rating but I really enjoyed this book. The only reason I've rated it three stars is because it is after all merely a collection of quotes.

It is not a book with chapters, only paragraphs referring to various nurses authors, across a life span, quite refreshing and funny, yet with an excessive amount of missing artificial limbs stories.
