About the Author

In addition to the Sarah Blair Mystery series, Debra H. Goldstein is the author of Should Have Played Poker, a Carrie Martin and the Mah Jongg Players Mystery, and the 2012 IPPY Award-winning Maze in Blue, a mystery set on the University of Michigan's campus. Her short stories and essays have been published in numerous periodicals and anthologies, including Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine. Debra serves on numerous civic boards in Birmingham, Alabama, as well as the Sisters in Crime (national) and Guppy Chapter boards. She is a Mystery Writers of America member.

Emily Beresford has been nominated for an Audie Award for best narration by the Audiobook Publishers Association and has received an Earphones Award from AudioFile magazine. She earned a BA degree from Green Mountain College in Vermont, with concentrations in creative writing, music, and English.

Judge Debra H. Goldstein writes Kensington's Sarah Blair cozy mystery series (One Taste Too Many, Two Bites Too Many, Three Treats Too Many). The fourth book in the series, Four Cuts Too Many, releases in May 2021, but is available for pre-order. She also is the author of Should Have Played Poker: a Carrie Martin and the Mah Jongg Players Mystery (2016) and 2012 IPPY Award winning Maze in Blue, a mystery set on the University of Michigan’s campus. Her short stories and essays have been published in numerous periodicals and anthologies, including Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine. Her writing has been honored by being named as finalists for the Agatha, Anthony, Derringer, and Silver Falchion awards.

Debra serves on the national board of Mystery Writers of America and is present of SEMWA. She previously was on Sisters in Crimes' national board for five years and was president of its largest chapter, the Guppies. She lives in Birmingham, Alabama, where she is an active community volunteer, with her husband, whose blood runs crimson.
