What I enjoy about Harlequin Romance stories is that I can choose a specific genre and I will know what I'm going to get. The sub genres within the Harlequin Romance series are specific, as in the case of Caroline Anderson's Harlequin Medical Romance, One Night, One Unexpected Miracle.
With the return of fall TV, so is the return of many of my favorite shows to watch (medical shows!). And when I saw this title pop up on my radar, I had to read it.
Alice and Marco's relationship goes from 0-100 instantly. Despite her higher position in the hospital, or that they are coworkers, spontaneity and fireworks happen. While some may think it is uncalled for and not a thing, the relationship between these two were what you want from a quick romance: hot and heavy in a short period of time. But on the opposite side of the spectrum, I missed the courtship, the slow friends to lovers time period, and other things that one would get in a longer book.
So when you read these titles? Know what you're getting into. It will make for a much nicer reading experience.
I enjoyed One Night, One Unexpected Miracle, and would be interested to read more in this series.
