You will read the first page and be just as entrapped to find out what happens to Morgan and Reid as they face what to anyone else would be a traumatic event. But to come across two pathetic Detectives who have no idea how to read a victim and continue to treat Reid as a Suspect in the disappearance of his dancer wife. A cliffhanger,,, just waiting for a resolution... will it come...

I did enjoy this novella. It was a quick read and I could feel Reid's pain as he realised his wife wasn't coming home. But was I enthralled enough to buy the next 4 installments to finish the novel? Probably not, I would prefer just to pay for the one book.

A totally messed up story, and one that stays with you. I had this on my kindle for a while before I read it, and now that I have, I need to read the rest of the series like now. Great characters, and a mysterious story line, One Fear is a wonderfully crafted physiological thriller.

I’m not really sure what to think of this novella. It was ok, but I personally felt it was way to short to really get to know the characters or form any attachments to them. I personally don’t feel the pull to keep reading. I did like it, I see the potential that it could have. I did like Reid, I felt something for what he’s going through, but other then that.... I just didn’t feel anything. Great concept and mystery, but for me, the execution didn’t work with breaking it into more smaller parts. I know amazon says 100 pages, but it felt a lot shorter then that to me. I have loved all this author’s other books, so I won’t stop reading her books, but this just wasn’t up to the standard that I hold for her. 3 Stars #2OCCJD
