Product Description

This is part two in a two-part series. Alpha & Omega should be read prior to reading this one in order for this story to make sense. Warning: Strong religious themes.

They now call me a Leviathan. A monster.
And maybe I am.
I know one soul who believes that with every part of his being.
If only he knew the truth.
If only I could make him see that I’m more than the surface of lies I spin. That I’m more than someone out for their own gain. I wish he could see—know who I was before all of this. The person I desperately cling on to that is still inside of me. The person I must protect.
One day I hope to hand him the key to the fortress that is my heart.
I just hope he doesn’t give up on Love and throw it all away…
***
I hate Love.
***
I’m looking at her.
There’s an innocence to her that she keeps carefully hidden.
But I see it.
Inside of her is someone that she has revealed to no one.
Not even me when I once thought we were in love.
Of course now I know that was all a farce but still, she hid that even from me.
But not now—now, I see more.

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW just Wow 17 August 2016

I got this book after reading Alpha and Omaha. I got hooked on the concept of HEA and HELL two corporations that work together and in some cases behind backs for the souls of the human population. This story brings to life the universal concept of heaven and he'll but in a way that is not so religious as fire and brimstone but that everyday people who sometimes aren't saints have an angel looking out for them.

Omaga and Love were a true love match, both strong protectors, loyal, looking out for the little guy. I was enthralled and would highly recommend this for your next read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love is all you need 30 July 2015

You first meet these characters in Alpha & Omega (book 1). Omega is Alphas partner, best friend, they are pretty much inseperable. Love (Lovenia) is a leviathan that came crashing into their lives while they are completing their final task. They were on their way to becoming Seraph Guardians. What happened instead is what neither of them could of expected. Love is all you need. Omega now thinks thats the last thing anyone needs. Love isn't just the leviathan we grew to hate, she was once a person too. That person could not be any more different than the evil woman we know. Maybe the woman we think we know isn't who we think she is. Maybe, just maybe their is a method to her madness. She may have had to break his heart along the way, but once he finds the real woman behind it all they heal eachothers hurt. We also get to meet some new hilarious characters that I love!! As usual, any character K gets me to HATE finds redemption.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love is all you need…. 30 July 2015

This book was just amazing! I loved reading it and couldn’t put in down once I started. I think it has become my favorite book of K Webster’s and I am not really a fan of paranormal reads…. So that’s definitely saying something ☺

After reading Alpha and Omega, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book. I had to know what happens to poor Omega. He was so set on becoming a Seraph Guardian in book one and unfortunately, Love took that chance away from him. We know he was sent to HEL Corp and was banished from HEA Corp. I truly felt so bad for him, he was such a good guy and really great at his job. I for one was really surprised that he fell prey to Love and she had the ability to change his life forever.

That being said, I wasn’t quite sure if Love could be redeemed, I mean what she did to Omega was down right sh**ty. I knew there was more to the story, because all of Ms. Webster’s books always have the element of surprise in them and it is usually juicy!!! Love is a Leviathan. We know from book one that makes her “a monster”. I don’t know about you, but I wanted to know what she could have done that was so bad that she wound up working for HEL Corp and not HEA Corp. I mean after what she did to Omega I figured the sky’s the limit with this b**ch right?! Well we were wrong!!!! Believe it or not all is not what it seems with her and by the end of this book I was fan-girling pretty hard for this character. The situations she has endured and the nice things she has done will have you ugly crying for sure.

We also meet some really shady characters in this story and they definitely took me out of my comfort zone, that being said, the situations are so well written and tastefully done so that you get the point but it doesn’t become all consuming or overwhelming. True to K Webster form there are several moving parts in this book and she will keep you guessing until the very end.

Ultimately, this is a story of evil vs. good, undying love, second chances, sacrifices and finding yourself. I loved everything about it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Read This Book. No Really, Do It. 18 March 2016

(If you want a summary of the novel, read someone else's review. If you want an insight into the feeling of it, read on.)

So I loved this book. Really, really loved it. I don't normal gush about novels, but OMG this one was great. So this is Book 2 of a 2 book series that began with Alpha & Omega. You could maybe--maybe--read this without the other, but don't. Why would you? The other novel is just as fantastic, and sets up Omega and Lovenia's history. (In this book you also learn a little more about Alpha and Lark without being a full "here's the previous couple, let's let them hijack the story".) So go read Alpha & Omega first, then return here. We'll wait.

Ok, now that you've read the first awesome book, prepare for it to be topped. Omega is one sexy hero, angry with his new job, his previous girlfriend, his boss, practically everything. He's the typical "brooding male on the edge" yet without being that typical. I mean really, how typical can an angel-turned-demon be? I will say that I didn't immediately love Lovenia the way I adored Lark right from the start, but Lovenia quickly grew on me. (It was the prologue's fault; I can't stand the vague "you don't know me" kind of inner monologues. Who would I be explaining this to in my own head, telling them no one knows me? Stop breaking the fourth wall!) She's got determination and is a very smart heroine, and though to say that makes her sounds as boring as 90% of others out there, I promise she's not. And while there's not as many explosive sexy times in this book as there were in the first one, I actually think that helps the story rather than hinders it. But the hot times are hot, btw.

Other thoughts:
* I love the author's use of flashback. It really helped move the story along without becoming a crutch. THIS is what made me like Lovenia.
* OMG, the secondary characters! So great! Love the guardian angels.
* Just the right about of religiousity in this book and it's well balanced. Yes, there is the religious man who abuses his power, but there's also the religious man who is exactly as good as he seems. I never felt like I was being preached at or proselytized.

Let me take a moment to expand on the religious themes. I mean, we're dealing with good vs. evil, so of course God and the Devil come into play. I like that Omega and Lovenia never lose the fear of Luc (which would undermine the whole "he's the devil" thing) despite their vows to pull one over on him. And while some people may take offense to Jes being a pot-smoking hippie, it makes total sense to me in the context of this universe Ms. Webster has written. I especially liked Jes, and that the author made him approachable yet powerful. The descriptions of the realms of heaven and hell were well chosen.

Ultimately, yes, this novel was a romance. There's the heartache, the moving past it, and the eventual happy conclusion. But I felt GOOD after reading this, and not simply because of the hot hero. Do yourself a favor and read this pair of books; these were the best paranormal romances I've read in a while. I'm going off to find more of Ms. Webster's work to read.
