I enjoyed seeing Dean and Beth interact, especially in the beginning as Beth had a bit more to drink than what she usually did. Dean was true to his word and followed up on not letting this opportunity slip, and boy was it hot! I liked how they pushed each other out of their comfort zones, acted impulsively and took advantage of every opportunity they had.
Like all romances, it wasn't smooth sailing; Beth and Dean fought numerous hurdles and their own insecurities got in the way at times. They both grew as people, but I just loved seeing them together. Dean may have been a player in the past, but I could see that Beth bought out the good side of him, the one that wanted more and he was willing to fight for it. Beth was a girl who had hope, but would run to protect her heart.
Once again I was blown away with another of Eden's reads. She created two characters that I adored and placed them in a city close to home. The chemistry was scorching and when they hit the sheets it was sizzling! I cannot believe that I had not read this one before, as it was preciously published under another title, because it was the perfect fun, entertaining romantic read that I love to savour!
Dean is a player and has had alot of women.
Beth is a good girl and works hard at her job. Dean is the bosses son.
Dean has wanted Beth since the night that they kissed. Before that they were flirting and comments to each other around the office. When they kissed that next time in the office all that stopped. There are alot of ups and downs as there is in any relationships.
I loved this book and I would highly recommend this book to anyone.
Sigh... I am not a big one for covers, but I can't help looking at this one on my kindle.
And what is inside is just as good!
Dean and Beth's kinda-sorta second chance office romance is steamy, sensual and just plain ol' good to read.
There is so much tension between this pair that you can cut it with a knife. They have adored each other across the office for a long time, so you know that things are going to be hot hot hot when they finally figure their stuff out!
What I love love love is that as Aussie author has set her book in Australia - woohoo! But that's probably just my little thing.
So much goes on in this beautiful story. It is hot. It is heartbreaking. It is a little bit of everything. And I am kicking myself for not having read it when it was originally released (and I know that is has been sitting on my kindle all that time).
There is plenty of sexy banter and witty one liners between our lovelies. Dean is alpha but not OTT alpha. Both Beth and Dean do some stupid sh!t at times and I want to slap some sense into them, but I couldn't help but adore them.
I laughed, I cried, I smiled. Office Player had a bit of it all.
Office Player is a re-branding & re-release of a previous novel of Eden Summers and I was actually very surprised that this was a debut book from her. The writing in this one is on par with her latest releases so from that we can deduce that this is an author who knows what she's doing.
This book is not an arduous read. It has all the prerequisites that are needed in a well rounded story...Attractive couple; interesting conflict; great chemistry between the characters; downright laugh out loud moments; misunderstanding and best of all....steamy hot sexy lovin!
The best thing about this one for me is that all those things I mentioned above? They were done to perfection...nothing was overly dramatic. The author used great restraint in her scenes and controlled the theatrical elements of her storytelling faultlessly.
I loved Beth & Dean as characters. I thought they both carried this story equally well.
Dean, although portrayed as a 'player' does not come across as obnoxious as some of these blokes can be. This story didn't batter us with the streotypical player type but more so concentrates on Dean's emotional progression & developed feelings for Beth...Thank you Eden!
Beth is my type of girl....You get blindsided by a confrontational proposal you don't want to address? Nick off to a bar & get yourself sloshed!!! Leave that crap to think about for another day! I love Beth!
Make sure to download Office Player...I can assure you, you will want this gem on your kindle.

Dean is the ultimate bad boy player. No attachments and a buffet of different women to satisfy his itch, but there's one kiss that has always been in the back of his mind. He has been buying his time and waiting for the right moment to convince her that he wants to shed his player reputation to be with her.
Will Dean be able to convince Beth that she's more than a one night stand or will Beth's insecurities keep her from taking a chance on love. Their attraction and sexual chemistry is obvious but will it fade after the itch is scratched? Eden Summers knows how to write a story that engages the readers drawing them into the love story as it unfolds. I highly recommend this 5 star must read.
