Product Description

"I knew the moment I gave in to pursuing Selene that trouble would follow me. It always does. I should have resisted."

Remington St. Germain is at a crossroads. He can either go after the one person who makes him feel as if he matters—the only person to ever calm the demons that roam his mind—or forget about her. The latter is not an option, even though there is a chance she might reject him. But, damn it all to hell, he will convince her. He has to. Otherwise, he will be right back where he was before she came into his life.

Selene Michaels' stay in Paris is only temporary. She shouldn't get too attached to Remington and his son, Adrien. But, Remington makes her feel alive and reckless, and Adrien makes her loss almost bearable. They complete her. She has a feeling there is more to Remington than a doting single father and her overprotective Prince Charming. Besides, the risk of being with them still looms closeby and she will do anything to keep them safe.

Sometimes life gives you a second chance. But what happens when danger threatens that chance?

5.0 out of 5 stars Sequel even better than the first! 28 May 2015

There's so many things I love about this book. I love the characters, the plot, the French words added in, the development of the characters...and the list goes on. Remington is seriously one of the best book boyfriends ever! He's kind, strong, caring, and he doesn't back down from a fight. When he wants something, he puts his all into it and never backs down from the challenge. He loves with his whole heart and to see him care for his son is seriously one of the best things about this book.

I love when a book show's how the couple become closer, bond over small things, but I love how the thing they bond over most is Remington's son. They put him before their own needs and wants because that's what good parents, good people, do. I don't know. I just love reading about parents who love their child/children with everything they are. Remington is a great character and I love how Selene loves them both and is a great heroine, who doesn't whine about everything and has insecurities, but fights through them to better herself and her happiness.

Remington St. Germain is torn. He's never felt the way he feels about Selene before, so he knows he can't keep his distance from her, but at the same time, he knows he should. There's still a threat out there that can hurt him, his son, and the woman he's starting to fall in love with. But he's willing to do everything in his power to keep Selene in his life, safe and well. Even if that means risking everything. Living without her is no longer a option and his son seems to agree with him.

Selene has never had the loving family she always wanted until she met Remington and his son. Now, she's willing to give up them, and her happiness, if that means that they are safe. But deep in Selene's heart, she knows she can't be apart from them for long. They are now her family, her home.

I can't think of anything more to say than this. Buy this book! Buy this series. It is amazing and you'll fall in love with the characters and will want to know everything that happens!

I highly recommend this book to everyone!

My favorite quotes:

"Life is a gigantic ball full of heartaches, breakups, both good and bad memories, making up, falling in love. It's messy but it's also fun."

"You're going to fall for me," I teased him, laughing.
He murmured, "My sweet Selene. It will be the sweetest fall."

5.0 out of 5 stars Cliffhanger Alert!! 7 April 2015

***Book 2 in the Havoc series picks up right where book 1 ends.*** Talk about cliffhangers wow this woman can sure leave ya hanging... I highly recommend if you can not handle them, make sure you have the entire series before you start . These books keep you engaged from start to finish there are no down points. I love this Authors ability to keep the story rolling so cleanly. I can not say it enough these books are awesome and well worth the time you will invest in them. I will give nothing away in this review as I really want you to read for yourself just how perfectly put together these books are. At this point in the story there are no new characters to mention so when you start this one make sure you have already read book 1 and have book 3 on stand by as these are one sitting reads. I could not put it down. Autumn Grey is an amazing writer .. I hope you enjoy her work as much as I have.. I highly recommend the Havoc series to anyone who loves a true love story filled with twist turns and good ole fashioned wth!!! lol

Remington is battling the dilemma of going after Selene because he wants her vs avoiding her to keep all of them safe. Despite the risks, I'm glad he went after her. Selene needed to know how much he cared for her if she was ever going to be convinced that what they share is authentic and worth fighting for. There's a little bit more of Remington's POV this time around, with additional information about both characters shared. Really, they are a great match despite whatever reservations Selene has about being a reminder for someone in Remington's past. Adrien is so adorable, I see the connection he has with Selene and how much he trusts her. There's a few twists in this volume, and it's obvious that Remington is intent on getting his way. I never really thought of him as controlling or overbearing, but when he puts his mind to something, he doesn't give up. Selene is letting down her walls and letting Remington in but I am not sure I fully understand her reasons for not wanting to establish something more permanent with him. I know they live in different countries and she needs her independence, but at the same time, what she has with him is not the kind of thing she can find with just anyone. Remington is a total catch and he's an awesome dad, plus he cherishes Selene, which is what she needs and wants. The ending opened up more questions with very few answers so I'm wondering where the story is going to go in the next volume because after everything Selene and Remington have gone through already in a short time, they've been tested quite a bit and deserve a break.
4.0 out of 5 stars An enjoyable read 17 January 2015

Obliterate didn't work quite as well for me as Havoc did. Don't get me wrong, this book was good and I was entertained, but it's always difficult for the second book in a trilogy to live up to the expectation of the first, while leaving room for the final book to bring it all home. For me, the story lagged just a touch in the middle-- I felt like there wasn't enough conflict to push it forward. We have the outward threat of the stalker, but there was little interior conflict between Remington and Selene that went deeper than the surface. For example, even when Selene give Adrien permission to use a different name for her without checking with Remington first, it seems to blow over fairly quickly.

I took issue with that scene because I felt like Selene was playing awfully fast and loose with a child's emotions, knowing that she's going to be leaving in a few months. How confusing is that going to be for Adrien? Selene came off as selfish, putting her needs above a child's.

Also, our characters say each other's names a lot. To me, much more than people do in real life. (This is a minor pet-peeve of mine, most people probably would have no problem with it.) It helps that I happen to think both names are interesting and I like them.

I did very much enjoy that the suspense was ramped up in this installment, and love that I still don't know who the threat is. There's a scene early on where Selene suggest someone, and rather than have Remington brush it off (like a weaker author might do), Remington considers it and investigates. It was refreshing to not have a potential red herring treated exactly as we expected it to be.

The connection deepens between our couple and that's well-executed, as well as some smoking-hot love scenes and the added element of danger and mystery. It was an enjoyable read and I'm looking forward to the conclusion.
5.0 out of 5 stars Remington & Selene's Love Story Continues In Obliterate 9 January 2015

*Complimentary copy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review*

“Obliterate” picks right up where it ended in the amazing book 1, “Havoc”. I knew Remington could never let Selene go, he was already in love with her; although, he didn’t even know it himself. Selene, my heroine, so strong, working on overcoming the tragedies in her life, could not resist Remington, the charming, smooth talking Frenchmen; even though, her being with him put both of them and his sweet little boy Adrien in danger. In this beautifully written book 2 of the story, we learn more about both their tragic pasts and the pain and hurt they carry in their hearts; although, when they are together all their troubles are obliterated by the intensity of the feelings that they have for each other. They are drawn together by more than just the sex, which was panty melting hot, delicious and “why can’t I have Remington” good!! Autumn Grey gives us this beautiful love story, with a “who done it” thrown in with some incredible sexy dialogue, sprinkled with tears and then ends it with another heart clenching moment. So looking forward to see where Autumn Grey takes us in “Mend”! Love this series!!
