Product Description

*Strong sexual content and mature situations. Recommended for ages 18+*

Sometimes life presents us with inexorable pain and formidable choices. Nevaeh Hewett knows this struggle of duplicity well. Her mother was diagnosed with stage-three lung cancer during her sophomore year of high school. Without family to lean on during this difficult time, the world comes crashing down around her. Sometimes comfort comes from where you least expect it. In this instance, it comes in the form of Landon Blake—the school’s star quarterback. He becomes her rock as she deals with her mother’s sickness. Their love blossoms, until circumstances force Nevaeh to make a difficult decision. She chooses a path that is at odds with her morality, but is a path that is necessitous. She is forced to walk away from her one true love, thus getting reacquainted with the pain.

Two years later marks the chance for a new beginning— or so she thinks. After Nevaeh’s mother loses the battle to cancer, her best friend insists that she joins her at FSU. This is a chance to start a new chapter in life so she accepts. She isn’t ready for the introduction to her new roommate Thor. He is cocky, gorgeous, and taken by their other roommate Giselle. Unbeknownst to the others, Nevaeh and Thor share a secret. Sparks fly as these three embark into a love triangle like no other. When all of the secrets and lies are out in the open, which will be the object of his desire?

OMG.....S R Watson MORE than delivers with The Object of His Desire!
Having never read anything of hers before I wasn't sure what to expect but WOW can this woman write!!!
From the first chapter I couldn't put it down....not because I needed to know what happens next but because I HAD TO KNOW what happened next. That, for me, is exactly what a truly gifted writer can do....have me so hooked and totally invested in the story and characters that I HAVE to keep reading.
Totally fell in love with the storyline, the characters and of course the gifted writer herself 😍
This story is one that starts with tragedy, secrets and lies. Nevaeh's decision to take care of her mum during her battle with cancer, by any means necessary, also meant she had to let go of the only boy she's ever truly loved. Landon was the boy she hurt deeply with her lies. Skip forward two years and her decision to make a fresh start brings her face to face with the boy she hurt deeply. He has moved on with new girlfriend Giselle but circumstances bring them back into each other's lives. Do they pretend not to know each other or do they forget the past and move forward?
A definite 5 stars and a MUST one click for this story!!!!

love love loved this book.. at first I HATED Thor with a passion.. I mean I guess I understood why but grrr he made me mad.. and Giselle.. I wanted to like her in the beginning but oh holy hell.. what a crazy wack a doodle.. I seriously loved Peyton. This book has so much love, humor, and heartbreak in it.. I wanted to cry and laugh at the same time.. The pranks Landon (thor) and Nevaeh (heaven) pulled on each other.. EPIC.... This book was amazing...
4.0 out of 5 stars Good second chance romance 17 March 2015

I was drawn into this book because it's a second chance romance and a love triangle. Nevaeh is at a new college to be with her best friend Peyton and rooming with Peyton's friends Giselle and Thor, who are a couple. Thor turns out to be Nevaeh's first love, Landon, from high school whose heart she broke and now they are living in the same apartment. Talk about mounting tension and bitterness. Nevaeh had her reasons for leaving Landon and it wasn't because she didn't love him. Okay, so I have to admit, Thor being Landon's nickname sounded just as ridiculous to me as it did to Nevaeh, but everyone else at college accepted it without question. There's quite a bit of backlash and hate with Landon trying to get back at Nevaeh but also sending mixed signals. I could see that Landon was a good guy overall because he truly did love Nevaeh but she cut him deep, so now he resorted to be a complete jerk to her and he says some nasty things. When he's in boyfriend mode, though, Landon is unstoppable. Nevaeh was a strong heroine who stood on her own two feet and would not cower to anyone and I thought she was relatable. Her reasons for leaving Landon were not bad reasons. There's quite a bit of heat and steam and crashing and burning, too. Landon has to decide if he can forgive Nevaeh and if he still loves her enough that he will stick by her side. Some twists are tucked away in the story as well, and I knew they were coming, I just didn't know what they would be so it was fun to be surprised. I would've liked at least 1 flashback scene of Landon and Nevaeh when they were in high school just to get a better glimpse of their original chemistry but that didn't hurt the development of the characters at all. Overall, it was an entertaining read.
5.0 out of 5 stars oh my god this is an emotional roller coaster 20 March 2015

Wow I have to say good job on the cover it was what drew my attention to this book. The emotions in this book are out of this world. First we have nevaeh who broke my heart I was a sobbing mess my kids looked at me like I lost my mind. Thor kinda came across in the beginning as a total a**. Landon was a sweetheart and I know when you read this book at first it is confusing but I love the surprise you get when she moves to florida. All the lies and betrayal that comes out later in the book just adds to the whole story. Once you get started you won't stop reading till it's done. Can't wait I read other books by S.R. Watson.
4.0 out of 5 stars Heavy on the Drama 8 June 2015

I enjoyed this book but I have to say it was heavy on the drama, almost too much.
Nevaeh breaks Landon's heart and her's in the process but it's what's best for him. Her focus has been her mother and now is her time to focus on herself. Things couldn't be more ironic than actually ending up in the same apartment as Landon but maybe things were just meant to be. It's a rocky road these two are on and a lot of hate is rolling off of Landon. Once Landon learns somethings these two can't keep their hands off each other. Of course as I read I am just on edge waiting for the epic blow up about to happen. The plot just thickens as the story goes and the lies pile up. Eventually things start to unravel and everything gets revealed but is it too late for Landon and Nevaeh? A lot of hot steamy sex scenes. Fabulous ending.

I am still in la la land after reading this book. Reading great read. Won't be my last from this author.
After losing her mother Nevaeh decides to move to Tallahassee to go to college and moves in with her best friend whom shares an apartment with another couple. After arriving she finds out that Thor whom is dating Giselle, is the love of her life that she had to let go two years prior. I don't like spoilers so I won't post any but after this Landon is such a jerk to her because of their past. Well when truths come out Landon wants Nevaeh again, but he still has a girlfriend. I definitely did not see a lot of things coming with this book. Was a jaw dropper. Landon was alpha which I love and Nevaeh was independent, kind and very likable. Told from Nevaeh's POV. HEA all the way. Hoping that Gavin gets a story. Highly recommend.
