I reside in Central Florida with the wife and two daughters. After thirty years in engineering, my time is now spent chronicling the adventures of fictitious heroes. They are off-world, fighting the good fight, keeping Man alive. For some it was meant to be their calling. For others... not so much. All however are willing to fight until the end. Flip open one of my books. Tag along as unlikely heroes try to conquer the galaxy or save all humanity. Get aboard as you're either with us or against us. This may be your ticket out of here... at least for a short while. Hope you have a great day!

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Consistent writing, plot keeps getting more involved, can any alliance be trusted? Grunta hero still providing consistent Sri kindness, stacks of courage, humility and plenty of grunt in all the life threatening situations.

In short this is one of the best Sci-fi series written in the last decade. The story flows at a tremendous pace, the technologies flow by the dozen but in a sensible and believable way. the characters are developed well and the book contains: drama, Sci fi, politics, love, tension, war, fleet space battles, land battles between monstrous armies.
Also in many ways the book satires our global existence today with loose alliances of states (EU), underground fighters and emerging empires.
If you are a Sci fi fan - this book and the whole Omega series is a must read.

Going to write this review for all of the series so far (1-5) as although each book was fantastic I loved reading it as one and can't wait for number 6.
They say never judge a book by the cover so I didn't, I liked the cover and liked that I could read the first one for free before deciding whether I wanted to carry on and buy the rest.
What an adventure, I thought the characters were fascinating and the fact that our first hero wasn't human was a real bonus. With so many ups and downs, points and counterpoints, truths and lies every page provided a fantastic reason to turn to the next.
So looking forward to the rest of the series Stephen so get those fingers tapping.
More in the Omega series. Well written and engaging believable sci-fi. Have bought everything I can find from this author. Very reasonable price too. Yes, there are some typos (wrong form of your, you're etc) but kind of inevitable from a self published author that hasn't spent a fortune on a professional editor. Even my inner Grammar Nazi can cope when I remind myself the price would be significantly higher. Very much worth five stars.
5.0 out of 5 starsExcellent series, well written and really enjoyed them all.

After reading the first book in the series as a free offer I decided to purchase the complete set. The book is interesting with lots of plots and sub plots which all come together in a well written ending. Great characters that you feel you can relate to and get to know during the journey through these books.
Loving this series. Knog is a fantastic protagonist, brave, honourable, resouceful and more than a little lucky. There's friends to fight for, heroines to rescue and worlds to conquer. What more could a reader ask for? Moves along at a good pace and the only thing that annoys me is that I've caught up and have got to wait for him to write another one.
