Honestly such a refreshing start to a new lifestyle. Living with hypothyroidism & hashimotos for 16 years I have struggled with diet and lifestyle control, seeing all new fads and trends to get a better control of my health. Following these recipes in The Nourished Thyroid has not only help me lose 11 lbs since January 1st but it has helped me feel SO much better. My fatigue has subsided, my skin looks better, and I have less swelling in my face and body overall. I would highly recommend this cookbook to anyone struggling with thyroid disorder. A true gem!

The Nourished Thyroid is a great resource for anyone looking to support thyroid health, but is also great for anyone looking to eat balanced, health-promoting meals. This book is for you if you are ready to get right to the recipes! There is some basic information about ingredient choices, lab testing, and triggers/stressors that affect thyroid function, but the bulk of this book is recipes. Categories are divided into breakfast, smoothies, soups, salads, entrees (fish, poultry and beef and vegan), sides, snacks/desserts, and sauces/condiments. If you need some guidance on meals and dishes that will build your health, this is the book for you!

This cookbook is not only full of delicious recipes that can be altered to whatever lifestyle you like, but it is also includes lots of important information relating to thyroid related diseases. Although I don't have any thyroid issues, I do have some friends that need to follow either a gluten-free diet or are interested in a vegan lifestyle. This cookbook is great for all!
