5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent overview of Ozploitation
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 January 2012
This is a wonderful documentary for an introduction to Ozploitation films and even if you know about Australian films there are plenty of clips here to show you what you may be missing. This film has interviews with all the movers and shakers of Ozploitation films and even some its most fierce critics.

The film contains clips from many films interspersed with talking-head interviews including Quentin Tarantino who seems to have seen just about every film under the sun. Where does he find the time to make his own films? The risks that people undertook to make their films stunned me and there were the inevitable stunts that went terribly wrong. Many of these films disappeared soon after they were seen in the drive-in theatres, the medium for which they were made, so see this film and get a taste of the sort of craziness that will probably never be made again.
