Following wild dreams had worked for him in the past… Is this another wild dream he should follow?

Couldn't wait to read the second part of this series, as i loved the first one so much.

Probably about 2/3 of this book is actually Jack's story. At first, i wanted to hurry up and get to the bit where he finds Beth again, but then his story actually got quite interesting. So bear with it. I think you'll find it helps you to figure him out a bit better.

Kudos to Elizabeth for attempting to mend her marriage...i'm really glad this was written into the storyline because i felt this honoured her 20year marriage and she wouldn't have to look back on it and regret not allowing her self and her husband to at least try to fix things. I guess you need to know that you've exhausted the opportunities so that you have some closure before moving on. I really liked how the realistic and raw emotions were shown to us, from all characters.

Loved the happy ending and thoroughly enjoyed books 1 and 2 of this series.

HASH(0xb06574ec) out of 5 stars Love Jack! Love His Story! 29 April 2014
By RangerGirl - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
WOW! The author sent me this book to read before the release and all I can say is THANK YOU Isabelle Peterson! This is a copy of the review I put on Goodreads. I STILL love it! And now, I also love Ditching the Dream! Great series so far! Keep up the good work Isabelle!

Let me start out by saying I don’t give out a lot of 5 stars. I reserve them for classic novels (yes, I’m a bit of a book snob) so when I give a 5 star rating, the book has really gotten to me in some form.

This was a fabulous ending to the Jack and Beth story from "Ditching the Dream" (“DtD”). DtD was Elizabeth's (Beth) story and I didn't like the writing or the story or the ending or or or... Ms. Peterson changed EVERYTHING in the finale. I ended up liking…nope…liking isn’t strong enough…I ended up LOVING Jack and Beth.

This author found her footing with this book. I was not a fan of DtD and I couldn't put my finger on just one reason. I figured it out while reading this book. It was the main character's history. How he grew to be the person we see in the book. What happened in his life with his parents, siblings, "friends", career, etc. Jack was a likable character in DtD but he became a LOVABLE character in this book. He became my hero. The man I want to find and be with for the rest of my life. He became the bar I will set for all my book boyfriends in the future. YES…that’s how much I love Jack.

This book starts out with Jack going to get Beth back from California where she’s gone to live her HEA with her husband, Greg. Jack’s got a six-hour plane ride and, during the flight, he’s got time to reflect on his life. We get glimpses of his beginnings. What made the man. And what a story he has! Jack is a self-made man. He’s had some trials throughout his life and is cynical and jaded. We get to read why. He sees Beth for the first time and his life changes. It’s instant. It’s what we love to see happen in a romance novel. It’s his point of view. A POV from someone who’s had a hard beginning and worked hard for everything he has. We see his side of the story from his time together with Beth.

I was pulled in to Jack’s story. His emotions. I’m around the same age and “hearing” the music he heard, seeing some of the news of that time brought a smile to my face.

READ THIS BOOK! I can’t urge you to do so enough. Hopefully you’ll see what I saw. Hopefully you’ll put the book down and sigh and smile knowing that sometimes, good things happen to good people. They get to find their dreams….their WILDEST DREAMS. OH...and read Ditching the Dream too! You'll like the new and improved version. It's a lot better read and seeing both characters points of view is priceless.

HASH(0xb0653f90) out of 5 stars Going after what you want! 23 August 2015
By Dana Busenbark - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
In this second book of the Dream Series, we see Jack back when he was 18 almost 19 years of age, when he was discovered by a woman from Ford Modeling Agency. We get a chance to see how he became a model, and the things he went through. We get to see what made him become a Dom, or should I say who and how. This is a really interesting flashback on Jack's life. It makes me wonder if all those small town Colorado people got him 150% wrong in their thinking about who and what he was when he lived with his family. How does Jack react when the woman he loves, for the first time ever, goes back to her husband in California? What does Jack do? What does Becca do when she shows up after being out of town for three days? Does he listen to his best friend and JSS Modeling partner and go after her? If he does go after her, what happens? We know she goes home to try to make it work with her husband. Does it?

HASH(0xb0653468) out of 5 stars Absolutely Fantastic!! 26 March 2014
By cdlacombe - Published on Amazon.com

After reading Ditching the Dream, I fell in love with Jack. He was so right for Beth and when she went home to try to work things out with her husband, I understood where she was coming from. But I am so sorry, Greg was an @$$ wipe. I was really looking forward to reading Jack's story and Izzy, you did not disappoint!!. Reading how Jack went into his modeling career and his life until he met Beth, was an eye opener. She shows just how hard it can be to become a model and exactly how hard Jack had to work. And work he does, to become a model, to become the person he is and to become the man that Beth eventually fell in love with. He also works to show Beth how he is the man she belongs with. So, if you read Ditching the Dream, then you definitely need to read this book too, to see how everything comes together. I totally loved it!! I can't wait for Phoebe's story.

HASH(0xb0653474) out of 5 stars I Absolutely Love JACK STEVENS. .... 27 February 2014

I was lucky enough to be chosen as a Beta Reader for this book. I'm not going to go into any detail as I don't want to spoil this AMAZING book for anyone. But I will tell you I loved every minute of reading it. The story line pulled me in and didn't let me go. For me it hit on all my emotions and I love when a book does that. And Jack Stevens I didn't know it was possible to love him more then I had already but after reading his story I fell even more in love with him. Great Job Mrs.Peterson's on delivering your readers with another AMAZING book. Wish I could give this book more than 5 star's. I would highly recommend you read this book, you will not be disappointed... .
