Karly Lane has become another one of my favourite Australian Authors. I have enjoyed all of her books that I have read, and this one is definitely right up there!! Kate was bequeathed "North Star Station" by her Grandfather. This came out of left field and was a lifeline for her and her children Georgia and Liam as they were going through a rough time in the City. Kate packed up her children (much To their horror) and fled the City madness and retreated to North Star Station in the outback, only to discover that the Station had not been stocked or looked after for many,many years. The kids were horrified and acted up. (as kids do) but Kate kept her resolve. A very old school friend arrived to visit from the next door station. Kate began to dream and plan to set the station to rights. I am not going to write any-more as there is lots of Mystery and Suspense and I guarantee you won't want to stop reading!!!

I enjoyed the outback feel to it as well, seeing as how I am from Australia. If you are a fan of Karly Lane then you should get this book!
