Withings Body Cardio tracks weight, body composition (body fat, water %, muscle & bone mass), BMI and standing heart rate. All data syncs to the Withings Health Mate app where you can view trends, set goals, and find extra motivation.
From the manufacturer
Standing heart rate
Easily track your standing heart rate, a general indicator of your overall fitness. Increase activity to lower your standing heart rate over time.
More than just weight
Track BMI, weight and body composition: total body fat and water percentage, plus muscle and bone mass.
Power of the Wi-Fi sync
With Wi-Fi synchronization, your data is seamlessly synced to the free Health Mate app (iOS & Android) after every weigh-in, without needing to have your phone near your scale. Set goals, view trends and get extra motivation in the app to reach your objectives.
For the whole family
To get insight on healthy weight gain, activate Pregnancy Tracker to get support during pregnancy with obstetrician-reviewed wellness advice and personalized weight tracking, and accurately weigh even the smallest member of your family using Baby Mode. Also, up to 8 users can be recognized automatically.
At only 0.7 inches thick with a solid aluminum base, Body Cardio has no feet to adjust, making it incredibly thin and stable, so it's highly accurate on any surface. It is rechargeable with a battery life of up to 12 months.
Works with Alexa
Withings Health Mate users can add this Alexa Skill to up motivation or simply check in with progress. Just say, 'Alexa, ask Withings' and find out about weight trends by day, week, or year.

Nokia/Withings should've made more efforts to write decent documentation as I believe many users wouldve been defeated and sent it back.
Apart from that, the scale is good. To get a good reading for anything but weight you need slightly damp/sweaty feet. I dab mine with a damp kitchen tissue.
Beware that sometimes your weight might vary by 0.2kg with each reading... I tried standing on the scales twice within seconds of each other and the readings came out different. You may want to take an average if you want an accurate reading.
I can then use the app to track my weight progress (as well as body composition, water, heart rate etc.)
These scales are not your normal average scale, this is better and a new generation of fitness all in one device.
Although you don't really need the app, especially if you're not tech savvy, however the scales work perfectly fine for daily use to check your weight.
The design itself is easy to use; the on button is on the right hand side. Also, the colour scheme is good and the screen is easy to read.
I would recommend these scales for anyone.
"All Withings smart scales provide ultra precise, accurate results on any surface accurate for trustworthy readings every time you step on."
I bought this scale, around a month ago, having previously owned Withings scales since 2011. In fact, my 2015 model is still very good but felt I was due an upgrade.
I primarily bought this for the PWV feature but found the readings would fluctuate from 6 to 7.2, overnight. This, despite an increase in cardio activity.
I contacted customer services who provided basic advice (stand on it properly!). They then referred to a 'diagnostic department' who explained that the PWV feature may not be constant but that my device showed no issues. So, no help there then.
I'd accept that if it wasn't for the fact my weight and heart rate readings were as equally inconsistent. I can step on the scale three successive times and get three different readings, with as much as 1 or 2 lbs difference. According to the scale, my heart rate was 150 bpm upon waking up the other morning and then decreased to 76bpm seconds later. Needless to say, I've lost all trust in the accuracy of these scales.
Whilst in the process of returning them I've noted that the price has shot up £18 (I paid £117 in June 2020). The cynic in me would suggest this is due to the Prime Minister's imminent announcement about tackling obesity in relation to Covid-19.
Please don't spend £135 on these inaccurate scales. It may be that shopping directly with Withings (as I did with my original scales, which were also pre-Nokia) will offer a more accurate scale, but I'm not convinced.
I gave 3 stars for the app because it varies so much on accuracy. It tells me when my weight goes down, my body fat goes uo. If it says on the scales I lost 0.5lbs the app can say 0.3lbs or 0.7lbs. Most times it agrees but not always. It is accurate with my BMI and possibly bone density and water weight and pulse wave velosity.
I love the way it syncs with my phone and MyFitnessPal because I can really keep an eye on what is going on. It sort of syncs with fitbit too but only the bits that fitbit will allow.
Overall a very good scale. I wouldn't want to be without it.
