Product Description

The years that were taken can never be repaid.

The memories stolen can never be returned.

But I had to move forward…for him, my son.

Noah had spent years wondering what he could have done differently. Wondering what he’d done wrong to make Stacey leave. The heartache from her absence and the what-ifs of their past eventually turned to anger—and then disgust.

It took years for him to move on, and once he did, his past came thundering back, revealing a secret.

A secret that would forever change his future.

Alena had waited for the chance to have more with Noah. He was an enigma, a man of mystery, yet she wasn’t quite ready to give up on him. She knew there was more to him than what he allowed those around him to see. She was drawn to his charm and his calm nature. With an uprooted past of her own, she craved a little stability more than anything. But when things between them finally begin to grow into more, their relationship is tested.

Will it all be too much for Alena to handle?
Or will she decide to stay and be a part of…Noah’s Journey?

I absolutely love this series i first started reading out of sequence, so i started all over again, and it is so much better when you read it in sequence, the stories all role into each other beautifully i love the characters and there stories they all touch your heart and the Sawyer brothers although strong alpha males treat their ladies like queens, i absolutely love their journeys ox

You gotta love the hunky Sawyer men this book was just as hot and steamy. This book was slightly shorter but the story of Noah and Alena was cute and watching Noah with his son was even cuter. Well worth the read

3.0 out of 5 stars Huh...definitely lacking... 6 February 2016

I have to say that I am a little baffled by this third book in the Sawyer Brothers Series. I loved Ryan's story and Jackson's was great as well. This one was off for me though. First off, the relationship between Noah and Alena jumps in after they have already been dating. I kind of get why the author did that but for me the courting and beginning of of the relationship is the best part and I felt cheated out of that aspect of this one. After Noah's ex shows back up with a son Noah knew nothing about I was back into the story 100% and eager to see where things would go. After a little bit of jealousy and Noah screwing up a few times the story just goes totally stagnant for the majority of the book nothing really happens. There are just lots of scenes of Noah and Alena together with Noah's brothers and their wives. In fact for a large part of the second half of the book the son (Austin) is not really around much either. A new character is introduced in a bizarre and underdeveloped way and then just is part of the group. Very strange. All this time I am waiting for the big upset that is going to drive a wedge between Noah and Alena to test their love and when it FINALLY happens it is this unimpressive event that is resolved in like 2 pages and then things just move on and the book is over. I am left feeling so confused. Unlike Ryan's book (which is still one of my favorites) this one just had a lot of the beginning of story lines but then they just kind of go no where. Everything just kind of stops at the end. Overall, I was disappointed with this one compared to the others in this series as well as all of the other C. A. Harms books I have read. I still gave it 3 stars though since there were still glimmers of the the writing that I have come to know and love from this author.

Noah has been the emotionally closed off brother, his ex left him making him not trust again. Though she was a horrible person so it should of been good riddance instead of emotional turmoil for four years.
Alena is family to Amber, she recently moved to be with her and Bailey. She and Noah have been attracted to each other since they met but it took time before he gave in. Just when they start something good, his ex walks back into his life with his son that he didn't know about in tow.
Now, I'm a realistic woman and I say that anyone would shy away from that situation. Alena was way to understanding in my opinion.
Noah acted naive where his ex was concerned, I felt like he should of stayed away from Alena until he had his life in order.
The epilogues were set four years in the future and it looked like all the brothers had their HEA. Though there was a rough patch (where Noah admitted doing wrong things but just what we didn't get the full extent of) for Alena and Noah. Maybe Trinity will get a book and her part in helping them will come to light.

spoilers to follow....

I thought it was just okay. I normally enjoy this author's work, but this story just fell flat for me. I wanted more relationship development from the main couple. I think I learned more about the time the H spend with his ex than the time he spent with the h. I knew he was so in love with his ex that he chased her down after she left him only to see her with another guy. Fast forward four years, he is on a date with the h. How did that happen? I would have liked to see him do some courting and chasing of the h before this first date that just pops up in the beginning of the story. So after the first date, the ex shows up with his son..a son he was not aware of. The rest of the story has the H going on more outings with the h but the ex keeps popping up. He is either with the ex because of his son or he has to rescue/comfort her because she is the mother of his son. There just seem to be a lot of interaction with the ex and not much quality time with the h.

It was a hard sell for me that the H cared for the h as much as he did for the ex.

I was disappointed.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for a review. So excited for this book but also sad the Sawyer brothers are done :( this book was so good! I loved Noah and Alena and how could u not love Austin. Alena and Noah had such a rough start to a relationship but new their love was strong enough to work. This author ties in the prior two books so read those before this. Must read all!!
4.0 out of 5 stars Great Book! 18 December 2016

Noah thought Stacey was the one he has invested years in her. Stacey's too good for everyone in their little town so he should have know she was going to leave at some point. It took a long while for him to open his heart up to a women and just when he does Stacey is back to reek havoc. Alena is beautiful but has some issues so when Stacey shows up she goes running. There's a lot to work out for Noah and he doesn't do right by Alena a few times but he's not short of begging for forgiveness. It takes a bit to get things smoothed out but it's worth it. Some hot steamy juicy sex scenes. Fantastic ending. If you read about the other sawyer brothers you get an update on them in the future .
