Product Description

The years that were taken can never be repaid.

The memories stolen can never be returned.

But I had to move forward…for him, my son.

Noah had spent years wondering what he could have done differently. Wondering what he’d done wrong to make Stacey leave. The heartache from her absence and the what-ifs of their past eventually turned to anger—and then disgust.

It took years for him to move on, and once he did, his past came thundering back, revealing a secret.

A secret that would forever change his future.

Alena had waited for the chance to have more with Noah. He was an enigma, a man of mystery, yet she wasn’t quite ready to give up on him. She knew there was more to him than what he allowed those around him to see. She was drawn to his charm and his calm nature. With an uprooted past of her own, she craved a little stability more than anything. But when things between them finally begin to grow into more, their relationship is tested.

Will it all be too much for Alena to handle?
Or will she decide to stay and be a part of…Noah’s Journey?

You gotta love the hunky Sawyer men this book was just as hot and steamy. This book was slightly shorter but the story of Noah and Alena was cute and watching Noah with his son was even cuter. Well worth the read

3.0 out of 5 stars Huh...definitely lacking... 6 February 2016

I have to say that I am a little baffled by this third book in the Sawyer Brothers Series. I loved Ryan's story and Jackson's was great as well. This one was off for me though. First off, the relationship between Noah and Alena jumps in after they have already been dating. I kind of get why the author did that but for me the courting and beginning of of the relationship is the best part and I felt cheated out of that aspect of this one. After Noah's ex shows back up with a son Noah knew nothing about I was back into the story 100% and eager to see where things would go. After a little bit of jealousy and Noah screwing up a few times the story just goes totally stagnant for the majority of the book nothing really happens. There are just lots of scenes of Noah and Alena together with Noah's brothers and their wives. In fact for a large part of the second half of the book the son (Austin) is not really around much either. A new character is introduced in a bizarre and underdeveloped way and then just is part of the group. Very strange. All this time I am waiting for the big upset that is going to drive a wedge between Noah and Alena to test their love and when it FINALLY happens it is this unimpressive event that is resolved in like 2 pages and then things just move on and the book is over. I am left feeling so confused. Unlike Ryan's book (which is still one of my favorites) this one just had a lot of the beginning of story lines but then they just kind of go no where. Everything just kind of stops at the end. Overall, I was disappointed with this one compared to the others in this series as well as all of the other C. A. Harms books I have read. I still gave it 3 stars though since there were still glimmers of the the writing that I have come to know and love from this author.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lord Love these Sawyer Men 2 February 2016
By April R Symes - Published on

Noah’s story is one of the best love story- its filled with doubt, angst, love, and most of all- the fight to keep what is his- his lady and his son.
Alena and Noah have been hiding their feelings for awhile .Finally Noah has been ready to allow himself to proceed with this relationship; Alena has loved Noah for a while and is so happy that he is ready to let himself trust in their budding relationship. Just when things are starting out, a blast from Noah’s past shows up and brings back a 4 year old secret that shakes Noah to the core- a son he didn’t know about. To which that sets Noah off and makes him want to cause damage for the pain he is in. Noah wants back the years he missed and he now steps back from Alena to make time with his son and make sure his ex-girlfriend doesn’t take off with their son.
Alena is heartsick over the grief Noah is in; I know I would be if this was my love going thru this but I kind of feel Noah is being somewhat of a jerk. Alena is a sweet woman who puts Noah first but slowly starts feeling like he is backing away on purpose. She wants him to know his son but the distance puts a pall on their relationship and the ex-girlfriend doesn’t help matters. Noah is a man who definitely doesn’t get that he is in the wrong until he gets smacked in the face with his actions that he is losing the one person who truly loves him and has wanted him happy and has put him and his son first. Noah rushed to repair their relationship but is it too late? Will his ex-girlfriend get her comeuppance? For I know she sure needs it!!
I enjoyed the flow of this story and getting to see that not everything is rosy in a relationship; that there is a give and a take in order to make it work. I loved the ending but it was slightly rushed for my take. I would have liked a more rounded ending but overall it was good. Noah is a good man who makes Alena happy. I loved the epilogue and cannot wait for part two of the Sawyer book to come out on the niece.

My rating: 4.7 stars *****

5.0 out of 5 stars Everything I wanted for Noah and more 11 February 2016
By Mignon Mykel - Published on

Oh, Noah... I have been waiting for you to find a good woman to make you forget all the wrongs that were done to you -- only for more to be put on display in 'your' book. Enter Alena -- or rather, just take another look at Alena. These two have been fun to watch throughout the series, and watching as Alena finally tries to take their friendship to the next level was just what I was needing.

Their friendship shows in the fact that they don't play games with one anothere. There are no word games, no mind games... they're simply to the point and expect the same from the other. That said, with the level of trust between them I found a particular scene toward the end to be rather heartbreaking on Alena's part -- while she trusts Noah, their relationship was still vulnerable enough for her to question what she sees, especially when what she sees could be a better answer for Noah's situation.

This was an excellent story for Noah and Alena, everything I wanted for them and more. And no worries -- we readers and fans of these Sawyer men get a little bit of an extra surprise after 'The End' -- and I absolutely cannot wait!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hot cowboys do abound 3 February 2016

Guest Review by Tammy Cole
I love a good cowboy romance and CA Harms knows exactly how to write one! This is the third book in this series and every single one of them has been excellent.

Noah and Alena have been flirting with each other since the first book and the attraction between these two is intense. They have finally decided to give dating a try and on the first date they are thrown a complication neither one saw coming.

The way these two are with each other is really sweet to read. You can feel the attraction and chemistry between them. What I really loved was that they were both very honest with each other and they didn't play any games with their feelings and emotions. It was so refreshing to read about a couple that have to work through a major development and yet they come out strong in the end. I absolutely adored the epilogue that followed. These brothers are honestly some of the hottest cowboys I have ever read about. I really enjoyed this book and the series!

"The love of a Sawyer man is consuming and overpowering. You don't have a moment to feel neglected or lonely. They love every moment they're near you."

5.0 out of 5 stars Love those Sawyer Boys! 3 February 2016

5 Crazy Ass Must Read Stars!!!!!

C.A. Harms sure does know how to bring those Sawyer brothers to life through words. Whew! I will admit though that Jackson is still my favorite of the three leaving Ryan and Noah neck and neck. Regardless of not being my favorite, I still swooned and fanned myself like the Book Whore that I am. Hehe.
I did enjoy this story a lot and was so happy to that Olivia's getting her own story. Hmmm, interesting! Dying to read that.
