I enjoyed how the book was about the romance predominantly with only little touches of intrigue and secrets. You could feel the emotions of characters as they suck you into their lives. A well crafted romance that I would recommend.

What a sweet story. Just like peach cobbler and cream for the heart. I loved the fox (Dean) and swan (Maddie) combination. Both characters are memorable, as are the other residents of Crisis, most of whom are also swans. There’s a touch of spice between Maddie and Dean. And there’s a bad guy to stir things up a bit. It’s a keeper!

Foxy times!Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 May 2020
On the run from a drug cartel, the main character (a fox shifter) gets placed in a safe house - in a town full of swan shifters! Two animals you wouldnt put together normally. It's a sweet story but I expected some drama around the baddies coming for the male lead and the female being caught up and in danger - it didnt happen. Infact there wasnt any drama at all. To me it felt like the story ended without any real impact, perhaps the author missed a trick there.
Enjoyable ReadReviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 August 2019
Loved the character banter and found myself LOL quite a few times. *Spoiler alert* - which I never do but, waited for the threat that never came to town and thought this will be useful. Regardless it's a nice and enjoyable read.
Sweet and neat small town shifter romance.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 May 2020
This flawless little gem of a romance where the guy and the girl are both likeable adults with varied histories made for a very pleasant confection. Definitely a bit moreish, so I'll be reading the next one soon.
