The one thing I really like about this is the pouch that comes with the umbrella - I take the bus and it's always annoying when you have to hold a wet drippy brolly by your seat (imagine a crowded bus!) and being able to immediately fold it up, put it away without soaking your bag really helps eliminate that hassle.
I've had Japanese umbrellas before that has the automatic open and close button but for those that has never had the experience it's a really convenient feature to not need to push and pull to open and close your umbrella - all the more if your hands are full, you no longer need to use both hands to close your brollies.
This umbrella has an automatic open/close button which is handy, but you can't use the open button again until you completely fold the umbrella back which can be difficult and requires some strength. The umbrella hasn't broken in a strong wind and is quite large considering it is very compact and can fit in my handbag. I really like the case it comes with as the case absorbs water so I put the umbrella away wet and can put it straight back in my bag.
Got this as a gift for my partner. The microfibre bag is really useful for protecting work bag contents from the wet umbrella. The umbrella itself is great, bigger than expected and has a nice grippy handle. Takes a bit of strength to put it away, but it's also pretty sturdy in the wind.
The first thing I noticed was the carry case, zips completely, and is actually a remarkable system for drying your umbrella when you put it away! What a great idea!. The product "feels" sturdy, well constructed, and professional despite the bargain price! It is certainly easy to open and close, and gives good coverage as its quite wide, and although I haven't tried it out in a strong wind yet, I'm confident that it'll behave as promised. Thanks guys, its hard to believe but I'm actually impressed by an umbrella!
Slightly bigger than I expected but works well as an everyday carrier in my backpack for Melbourne weather. The bag is a great idea allowing you to putaway a wet umbrella. The construction feels relatively stable and well balanced. Pushing the umbrella back to the closed position does need some muscle but not a problem for me. Would I buy one again? Yes I would. No good for fitting in a handbag in my opinion.
